Bred to be effective at this trip but was well held on debut at Beverley (33/1 odds) in June and has plenty to prove on a literal reading of that performance; possible the fitting of a tongue-tie can help but a big improvement is needed.
Has C&D experience and looks the type to make further progress; he's related to several winning sprinters and runs for a yard noted for a patient approach. Needs to improve but would be dangerous to rule out
Comfortably held when he debuted in a tough looking novice stakes at York last month and didn't show much progress when also finishing down the field at Pontefract (in this grade) last time out. More needed and might do better in handicaps.
Makes some appeal on pedigree but was brushed aside on debut over C&D late last month and needs a drastically improved performance to be a player this time.
Lots to like about the pedigree and must be noted his debut run was commendable given that he stumbled and missed a step soon after the start at Goodwood. Sure to be wiser, he's a rare runner at this course for this yard; highly interesting here.
A Starspangledbanner colt out of a half-sister to a couple of Group 2 winners over middle distances; his yard is flying just now and the secured services of Tudhope in the saddle is a positive move. One to take seriously if supported in the betting.
Out of a 7f/1m winner, this son of Mayson has yet to really capture the imagination. Highly respected yard but more than likely he'll do better in handicaps at a later stage if he stays in training.
€105,000 yearling that is a half-sister to a Group-placed sprinter; also notable her dam is a half-sister to 1m Listed race winner Nova Step; won't need to be out of the ordinary to get involved in this company. Needs a a betting check.
Bred for sprinting but was never in contention when fourth of six on debut at Ripon (5f, good) 16 days ago. Ran green that day and very possible she's got a lot more to offer; another to bear in mind.
Well held in both previous starts and hard to suggest the filly is capable of making it third time lucky on a racecourse. She's got winners in her pedigree but more than likely at least another furlong will see her in a better light.

Riffaa Wonder (1/1), Anatiya (10/3), Tamaska (4/1), Tantastic (4/1), Bedford Flyer (9/1), Bobby's Rose (16/1), Avior Star (33/1), Elzaal (40/1), Penombre (50/1), Vivacious Boy (80/1), Max Oclock (125/1)
The debut run from RIFFAA WONDER was better than his finishing position would suggest and, given that he takes a significant ease in grade, the Kodiac colt is taken as the one to beat in this weaker company. Anatiya and Tamaska appeal most from the newcomers, while Bedford Flyer has potential and is another to monitor in the betting. Tantastic has already faced stiffer company, so also merits respect.
