Frankel gelding; good as ever when winning at Haydock on seasonal return dropped back to 1m but well-held there since on soft going. Yet to show her best around this track and tough ask off top-weight.
More than two years since she won a race but twice gone close in four starts this year, including over a mile at Goodwood last week when fourth (beat 1¾L) behind progressive Tomorrow's Dream. Can go well from unchanged mark.
Promising return to the turf when third at Newmarket (7f, good to firm; 33-1) in June; decent effort here last time over 7f despite SP of 80-1 and might have place claims up in trip now.
Continued to be progressive in 2019, winning at Lingfield (7f, good) in May and running excellent races at Goodwood and Ayr afterwards. Has gone well fresh before and not beyond the realms he'll defy this mark soon.
Yet to win in four starts since joining this trainer from Dermot Weld but luckless in big-field handicaps here twice this summer and, with mark declining, might get his turn granted clearer passage in this smaller field. Solid contender.
First-time cheekpieces (retained) appeared to have desired effect when scoring at York (1m, good; 11-2) last month; 5lb higher and contender again in the headgear works a second time.
Outran odds of 50-1 on handicap bow over C&D (good) recently despite pulling hard in the early exchanges; up in grade now and lightly-raced sort must improve and settle a bit better to be in the firing line. Will find easier tasks.
Does best work on the all-weather circuit these days; penultimate run at Sandown over this trip would give him some claims from a declining mark starting out for new trainer.
Back on track last time with 1m Doncaster success (good to firm; 18-1); has gone up 4lb again in the ratings for that win and is in a stronger grade today.

Forecasts
Via Serendipity (7/2), Shelir (4/1), Cap Francais (11/2), Jalaad (11/2), Kasbaan (11/2), Game Player (7/1), Ejtilaab (14/1), Silent Attack (14/1), Wild Hope (16/1), Hateya (33/1)
Jalad and Wild Hope are last-time-out winners and the former should have solid claims if the headgear retains its effect; preference though is for SHELIR who has twice looked unlucky here this summer already in big-field handicaps. David O'Meara's four-year-old may find this reduced field to his liking and is capable of defying this mark. Game Player goes well fresh and needs a look as such while Hateya can also be in the mix after a good effort at Goodwood 11 days ago.
