Politics ran on strongly at Pontefract on debut to finish second and should be a threat here if wiser for the experience but he'll need to be alert when the gates open as PURE DREAMER showed plenty speed at Newbury and likely won't hang around. That debut effort is excellent form and with the Richard Hannon juveniles typically improving for a run, this son of Oasis Dream can get on the board. Newcomer First Edition has plenty going for him on paper.
