Useful hurdler (seventh in 2019 Ballymore), may have needed the run on chasing debut at Stratford (17f) last time, did finish rather tamely though. 5lb below his only handicap mark so far, ought to do better here with fitness now assured.
Hat-trick winning novice hurdler, did better in handicaps once mark had eased, good fifth in competitive event at Kempton (21f) in March. Encouraging chase debut at Market Rasen (21.4f), may need further, open to progress (from pointing background).
Chasing/handicap newcomer; bumper/hurdles winner at around 2m in novice company, pulled up when last seen (broke blood vessel). Should prove suited by fences/this trip, 1-2 in points (won second start in that sphere), return from a wind op.
Most experienced of these over fences (1-13), proved hard to win with prior to going pointing (1-3 in that sphere), plus having wind surgery. Looked a different proposition last time, cashed-in on a reduced mark, up 7lb, has to prove himself again.

Forecasts
Seddon (7/4), Captain Buck's (15/8), No Hidden Charges (11/4), Paseo (8/1), Shantaluze (11/1)
Just the five go to post, all of the quintet can be given some sort of chance. Captain Buck’s looked a reformed individual last time having spurned plenty of chances in the past to get off the mark over fences although he did only beat some reluctant types at Stratford. NO HIDDEN CHARGES came up against a good one in Ballyhome last time and he looks the type to make a better chaser than hurdler (was useful in that sphere). He jumped boldly last time and that could stand him in good stead here if going from the front again. Seddon would have been the best over hurdles but he didn’t totally convince at Stratford last time whilst Paseo and Shantaluze need to improve making their chase debuts.
- No Hidden Charges
- Captain Buck's
