Weighed In

Off time: 12:45  |   Winning time: 1m 11.58s

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-7  |  J: J Fanning |  T: M Johnston|  D

Half-sister to a couple of useful winners at this trip. Stayed on well after a slow start when landing a 6f novice at Kempton by 2L on debut. Helped by strong pace there, but still worthy of the utmost respect under a 7lb penalty.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-4  |  J: J Garritty |  T: Jedd O'Keeffe|  OR: 73|  CD

Didn't need to improve much to land a C&D auction contest on her third and most recent start, beating Gift List by a head. Has a 4lb penalty, and needs to find more to follow up in a stronger event.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0  |  J: Barry McHugh |  T: Adrian Nicholls

By Twilight Son out of a well-related maiden. Slow to stride when 14¼L fifth of 6 to Selected in a 5f maiden here on debut. Sure to know more now, but has plenty to find on form.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0  |  J: B A Curtis |  T: K R Burke

Related to a couple of 2-y-o winners from family of Lennox Stakes winner Byron. In need of the experience when 5½L ninth of 11 to She Do in a 6f novice at Doncaster first time up. Likely to do much better, so dangerous to ignore in this company.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0  |  J: C Lee |  T: K R Burke

Half-sister to sprint winners Lil Grey (Group-placed as a 2-y-o) and Miss Rosina. Showed ability when a one-paced fifth of 10 behind Red Fascinator in a C&D novice 13 days ago. Can improve, but does need to.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0  |  J: T Hamilton |  T: R A Fahey

Mayson half-sister to 5f-7f winner Mr Diamond and 1m- 1m1½f winner Mr Carbonator. Not helped by a tardy start when 5¾L fourth of 5 to Kohinoor in a Haydock maiden on debut, and should do better with that experience under her belt.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0  |  J: Kevin Stott |  T: J Tuite

Not disgraced when 5¾L eighth of 11 to Hot Scoop on debut at Windsor late last month, but quite a bit of progress required if she's to make a serious impact here.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0  |  J: Rowan Scott |  T: Phillip Makin

Half-sister to useful 7f/1m winner Honourable Emperor and 1m winner Fountain of Honour. Yard introduced a smart winning newcomer in Muker in June, so market check needed for this filly on racecourse bow.

Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0  |  J: Alistair Rawlinson |  T: M Appleby

Full-sister to 6f winner Gold Brocade, out of a half-sister to useful winner Hattaash. Yard's juveniles invariably in need of experience starting out.

Perfect Times (6/4), Sandhoe (10/3), Hilarity (11/2), Hungry For Fashion (6/1), May She Shine (9/1), Natural Instinct (14/1), Piran Meadows (25/1), Ghayahib (40/1), Snow Berry (80/1)

PERFECT TIMES did well to win on debut at Kempton given she was well off the pace at halfway, and she looks to have excellent claims of following up under a penalty. Hilarity was badly in need of the experience on her debut, and is the type to improve markedly, so makes each-way appeal, and is preferred to the penalised C&D winner Sandhoe for minor honours.
  1. Perfect Times
  2. Hilarity
  3. Sandhoe
