LOVERS' GAIT was much-improved when making every yard to win over C&D last month on her handicap bow. What she beat remains to be seen but Liam Keniry's mount was well on top at the line with 4L in hand and looking strong. She cost 75,000 gns as a yearling in 2018 and, on just her fifth start, may defy the handicapper's 9lb rise now taking on fillies. Rock Of Fame has been beaten a short-head in both runs this summer, including over C&D, and looks the danger despite being up 5lb after getting turned over at odds-on last time. Schmoozie has time on her side and might improve upped in trip after a break.
