Fairly consistent handicap hurdler but still seeking first win; this looks tough for her on her first start since March and probably needs some help from the handicapper to get ultra-competitive.

Eight-race maiden over timber but posted a career best effort at Gowran Park last month over 2m4f; appears to have every chance of hitting the frame at the very least.

Well beaten and pulled up in a couple of point-to-point runs last winter and two poor hurdles runs in July before producing a shock (66-1) victory at Tramore later that month; step up in trip possibly will not suit but confidence will be up.

Has been mixing up hurdles and fences for the past couple of years but rarely threatens to get competitive; did win his maiden over course and distance in 2018 and starting to look fairly handicapped.

Was in useful form this time last season winning twice at Downpatrick over 2m6f; most recent form has been below that standard and while edging down the handicap others currently preferred.

December's Naas hurdles bow (2m3f, soft; 100-1) wasn't devoid of some promise (sixth of 24, beaten 27L) but has let himself down in three subsequent runs and plenty to prove here in first-time hood.

Nine-race maiden, running well in defeat in a couple of improved efforts earlier this year and put in his best effort last time out at Downpatrick; heading in the right direction; leading chance.

Some promise about her fifth at Limerick over 2m6f in June but perhaps didn't stay 3m since. This trip offers optimism that she can make the frame but needs to put poor run on Sunday behind her.

Verdict

KILMURRY is yet to win a race over hurdles but connections looked to have found him a decent opportunity at a track where he has run well in the past. The six-year-old put in his best performance to date last time out at Downpatrick and arguably may have finished closer if not been given a bump on the run-in. He should run his race and this step back up in trip should suit. Getaway Glenda put all known form behind her to score well at Tramore last time out. This step back up in trip may not be to her advantage but with confidence up she could go well. Comporta is another who put in a career-best performance last time out and is one to consider.
  1. Kilmurry
  2. Getaway Glenda
  3. Comporta
