127-rated chaser and also an above-par hurdler. Fared well on return effort when third of 14 at Bellewstown (2m4f) at the beginning of July. Should come on for that and holds solid claims.
Landed back to back wins in this company and over fences at the back end of 2019, but looked in dire need of the effort when beaten 69L at Gowran (3m) last month. Needs to find his mojo once more.
Took advantage of front-running performance when easy winner of Tramore handicap hurdle (2m5f) and can't be judged on early unseat last time. Handicapper might have his measure.
Had some questions to answer previously in this company but put it all together when 2L winner of Galway handicap hurdle (2m) last week. Dangerously poised off the same mark. Leading contender.
Generally in good form since the resumption, winning at Leopardstown on the Flat (1m4f) as well as 3L third over hurdles at Roscommon (2m4f) last month. Each-way value if replicating that.
Off the mark at the third attempt over hurdles and had two encouraging placed efforts before 22L defeat last time off current mark. Handicapper might have his measure now.
Veteran who hasn't been seen much recently but has a poor record. Beaten 62L at Leopardstown (2m) on last start in December and plenty to find on comeback.
Sole win came in bumper last summer but very regressive in last three starts, including 45L fourth at Limerick (2m4f) last time. Others are readily preferred.
Needed reappearance at Tipperary in June but very good last twice, winning at Downpatrick (2m2f) before third at Tramore (2m5f). Only 2lb higher for this. Shortlisted.
Bumper winner in 2018. Missed 628 days prior to two very poor hurdling starts, including 36L defeat last time at Ballinrobe (2m6f). Faces really tough task.
First reserve. Winner at Punchestown in October 2019 but regressed since. Latest 21L seventh at Leopardstown (2m) suggests a bounce back is required.

Forecasts
Bua Boy (11/8), Chasing Abbey (4/1), Insane Bolt (6/1), Gone Racing (8/1), Ellie Mac (9/1), Dollar Value (10/1), Tina Marie (12/1), Mister Eddman (20/1), Mon Storm (25/1), Fruits Of Glory (28/1), Kilkeaskins First (28/1), Supreme Vinnie (33/1), King's Song (33/1), Above The City (33/1), Trendsetter (33/1)
An intriguing handicap, preference is for INSANE BOLT to continue his fine run of form. He took the eye when staying on well at Tramore last time and with only a 2lb rise for that placed effort and being on a current good run of form, he could prove to be hard to beat. Bua Boy looks to be the main danger given his striking Galway win and while he steps up in trip, escapes a penalty for that, while the likes of Dollar Value and Ellie Mac posted encouraging returns but will need to step up once more from them.
- Insane Bolt
- Bua Boy
- Ellie Mac
