Good ground point-to-point in May last year but has struggled in both starts under Rules including when pulled up at Kempton (2m5f, good-to-soft) in a novice hurdle in February. More needed if he's to take this event.
Small field point-to-point winner at Barbury Castle (good) in November 2018 but lightly-raced since and is probably best watched having finished 63L eighth over an extended 2m4f on good ground here last week.
Bumper winner put a couple of non-completions over hurdles in spring last year behind him when finishing 8L second over an extended 2m2f at Newton Abbot (good) last month. Strong claims of going one better in this contest.
Making his debut for this yard when finishing 36L fifth in a 2m6f novice hurdle at Stratford (good) last month. Returning from a lengthy absence that day and interesting to see how he fares down in trip.
Placed in a point-to-point in Ireland and has run well on both starts in bumpers since joining this yard including when 3½L second over an extended 2m at Market Rasen (good) last month. Notable runner on hurdling debut.
Shaped as if in she'd improve for the step up in trip when 15L fifth in a 2m bumper at Uttoxeter (good) when making her debut last month. Worth a check in the market on hurdles debut.
Shown ability in three bumper starts most recently when 12L ninth in a 2m AW event at Lingfield in January. Likely more needed if he is to make a winning hurdling debut.
Point-to-point winner at Loughanmore (yielding) in October last year but was pulled up in a first time tongue tie (absent here) in a 2m5f novice hurdle at Warwick (soft) on Rules debut in December. Others make more appeal.
Five race maiden was beaten 28L when ninth in a novice hurdle over this C&D on good ground last month. Likely to be of more interest once tackling handicap company.
Built on a promising debut effort when winning a 2m bumper at Uttoxeter (good) just under a month ago. Hails from a top yard and holds strong claims of getting off the mark at the first time of asking over hurdles.
11 race maiden was beaten 36L when sixth of seven in a 2m novice hurdle on good ground here last time out. Others hold more obvious claims.
Maiden after five starts including when beaten 31L in finishing last of seven over this C&D on good going last time out. Probably best watched at present.

JIMMY THE DIGGER ran well on his return to action and he can get off the mark with victory in this novice hurdle event. The selection put up a good show when finishing runner-up last month when returning from a lengthy absence and he can see off hurdling newcomer Miss Farage who was a bumper winner on her most recent start. Third place can go to Lively Citizen, another hurdling newcomer who performed well when placed on his final start in bumpers.
