Verdict

The win of EASTERN RACER in a 13-runner handicap at this meeting earlier in the week was always on the cards following a couple of solid efforts at Naas and Navan since racing returned in June. The eight-year-old can continue in good form here, despite his 6lb rise, at the expense of the Denis Hogan-trained Darkened who appears on a handy mark following a good effort earlier in the week at this venue on Tuesday. Mulzamm, gutsy winner here at this track on Tuesday, Lincoln, second at the Curragh last month and The MPex Kid, fourth behind Eastern Racer on Monday can all give a good account.
  1. Eastern Racer
  2. Darkened
  3. The Mpex Kid
