Cost 4,000 euros as a three-year-old; fourth foal; sister to point winner Equus Leader, half-sister to point winner Lough Derg Rose; fair chance on breeding if ready first time up.

Had failed to build on a couple of promising maiden hurdle efforts in January with two heavy defeats subsequently; better effort last time at Downpatrick and one to consider.

Daughter of Getaway out of an Oscar mare. Decent form in a couple of point-to-point starts in January/February this year; last of 13 on debut at Bellewstown last month; others more worthy.
Fair hurdles debut at Roscommon last August; brought down at first flight at Thurles in February; never a factor when last seen at Wexford in March; difficult to assess.
By Fame And Glory out of a King's Theatre mare; cost 4,500 euros as a foal; fourth foal; no great shakes on pedigree but worth a look in the market on debut.
A little inconsistent but has put in some useful racecourse performances including last time out at Limerick returning from a break; should be fitter here and looks to have a leading chance.

Modest form in bumpers and hurdles efforts have been little better; has ben well supported on occasion suggesting stable sees some promise in here but hard to recommend on known form.

Fame And Glory mare, in the frame in autumn bumpers at Listowel and Tramore before a couple of dismal efforts in October/November; fair effort on seasonal reappearance at Killarney recently; open to improvement.
By Court Cave. Makes rules debut. 0-2 in point-to-point sphere (beaten a fair way on each start); no danger to anyone on racecourse debut at Limerick last week; unlikely to be good enough.

Little Lady Lu22
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-1| J: C P McNamara(5)| T: J Nash| OR:  97
3/1
Seven-race maiden hurdler who showed encouraging improvement on her last four outings; may be vulnerable to some less exposed types but entitled to run well and one to consider.
Third foal; dam bumper/2m3f hurdle winner, half-sister to 3m1f-3m2f hurdle/chase winner The Happy Chappy; fair chance on breeding and it will be interesting to see level of market support.

40/1
Second foal; sister to 3m1f chase winner Eimear; likely to need much further than this and the other unraced mares make more appeal.

No chance with easy winner last month at Ballinrobe but going in the right direction and looks one of the more likely winners.

Reserve 1 Had first run in a bumper when last seen after falling on hurdles debut in March. Plenty to find after finishing tailed off and can be ruled out pretty quickly.

Verdict

LITTLE LADY LU has plenty of racecourse experience now and she can put that to good use in this not too competitive line-up. She has twice been placed over this course and distance and this looks a good opportunity for her to open her account. Hill Of Truth put in a useful performance on her reappearance run at Limerick and if she can kick on from that then she will rate a big danger. Will You Win did not get too close to the winner last time out at Ballinrobe but should be good for a place at the very least.
  1. Little Lady Lu
  2. Hill Of Truth
  3. Will You Win
