Newcomer, blinkers on for debut, yard 1-71 with newcomers last five years (0-9 this season). €35,.000 yearling, first foal, dam 5f-6f winner (including as a 2yo) out of half-sister to very smart sprinter Snaefell.
Longest-priced of the newcomers when making her debut running a particularly encouraging second half of the race (very green early on). Considerately handled, finished with running left, race looked a decent one, should show more now.
Promising type from a yard who are now firing with their 2yo's, easy to back on her debut at Catterick (6f) (best of yard's three newcomers), given a tender introduction (second to one with more experience), capable of going one better back at 5f.
Made a modicum of progress from her debut at Beverley last time stepping back to 5f (poorly drawn) and not unduly punished. Meets some useful types here though, hard to see her making an impact, more chance in low-grade nurseries.
Soundly beaten on debut when well found in the market (6f, Ayr), did better last time despite looking ill-at-ease on the track at Catterick again over 6f. Handled with care, may yet do better, drops back to 5f, Chica Bonita looks stable selected.
Failed to progress from her debut at Leicester last time over 6f when stepped up from her debut 5f. Showed some ability on her initial effort, needs to bounce back here but another who will be of more interest in handicaps.

Forecasts
Polastri (5/6), Chica Bonita (3/1), Mirror Kisses (16/5), Virginia Plane (7/1), Khabib (15/2), Twilight Lucy (14/1), Suntory Star (80/1)
In terms of form two stand out here with POLASTRI given the slight edge after producing a promising second at Catterick on her debut although she will have to cope with this drop back to 5f after debuting over a furlong further. Mirror Kisses visibly improved through her debut effort at Sandown and looks the main danger to the selection with further progress sure to be forthcoming. Chica Bonita looks to be the pick of the Johnston duo despite being a newcomer, the yard having a good record with debutant 2yo’s this year. Suntory Star and Virginia Plane are worth watching with an eye to the future for their prospects in nursery company which is surely where they will be headed next.
