Improving all the time and got off the mark at the third attempt when a comfortable nine-length scorer at Tipperary (2m; good to yielding). Gives weight away all round but this is a weak race so a bold bid in the offing.
Dual summer bumper winner last year, and probably best to forgive below-par effort in October at Down Royal (2m; good to yielding). Out of her depth then, but this looks more manageable. Fitness to prove on return from 301-day absence.
Sole newcomer in the field. By Getaway. Sales price rose from €11,000 as a foal to £32,000 as a three-year-old. Wears a tongue-tie on debut and wouldn't need to be a superstar to play some sort of part.
Sprung 50-1 upset on debut at Kilbeggan (2m4f; good) when staying on late in the day. This is probably a better race, but no knocking a winning start and surprise if she was not able to at least be competitive.
The most exposed in this line-up after six starts. Did finish third in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan (2m4f; good to yielding) when last seen but was 46-length behind the front pair. Previous form before that would leave him with masses to find.
Beaten a long way despite finishing sixth on hurdles debut at Kilbeggan (2m; good to yielding), and prior to that he was well-held in a bumper. Difficult to enthuse over on that evidence, and is confidently ruled out.
Returns to bumper scene after falling at the first on hurdles debut at Kilbeggan (2m; good to yielding). Costly to follow in this sphere finishing second at short odds (11/10f & 4/6f) on two separate occasions. Should have a leading role to play.

Forecasts
Hallowed Star (6/4), Jawbox (2/1), Eilise's A Lady (5/1), Pottlerath (10/1), Snegurochka (12/1), Seamus Darby (16/1), Champagne Vacation (40/1), Orchard Grove (66/1)
On her first run of the season, the two-time bumper scorer Snegurochka is worth a market check. She is back in calmer waters now after contesting a typically competitive Winter bumper when last seen in October. Another of whom the market is likely to prove informative with is the only debutante in the field Champagne Vacation who wouldn't need to be a world beater to make an impact first time out. Jawbox is considered given he has shown ability in his two bumper runs, but this is likely to be a confidence booster after he fell early on hurdles debut. Therefore, HALLOWED STAR is taken to concede weight all round and follow up his impressive breakthrough success.
- Hallowed Star
- Jawbox
