C&D winner three starts ago. Ran very respectably when third in competitive affair over C&D last time too. Never won on ground with soft in the description though which does temper enthusiasm to some degree.
Showed promise on his penultimate start when fourth behind an improver at Hamilton (1m; soft), but failed to build upon that when trying 1m2f for the first time at Haydock. Drops back markedly in trip.
Stepped up on previous efforts when runner-up on handicap debut to finish second to Epeius (runs in previous race) on handicap debut over C&D. Wouldn't need to improve a great deal so off an unchanged mark he has leading claims.
Shown improved form on either of her two starts this term. Returns to 6f after staying on into third over 5f at this track on handicap debut at the start of the month. Major player if able to build on that effort.
Yet to prove as effective on turf as he is on the AW, nor over this trip. In good form when last seen at Newcastle towards the back end of last year. Now makes seasonal reappearance with a bit to prove after 263-day break.
Made a promising seasonal reappearance effort and was then unlucky to stumble when only eighth of 10 at Chepstow (6f; good) last month. Remains unexposed and if getting more luck in-running is not one to write off.
Not been seen for 164-days since finishing well-held in defeat at Newcastle (6f; standard) in February when having her first start in this sphere. Difficult to make a case for with so much to prove on return from such an absence.
Showed improved form for the drop in trip when getting off the mark at the fifth attempt at Yarmouth (6f; good to firm) recently. Only been raised 4lb for that narrow victory which seems fair. Remains open to further progress after just five starts.
Makes turf/handicap debut after showing limited ability in a trio of novice events on the AW. This is competitive so she will need to improve for the switch to this sphere. Others preferred unless market speaks in her favour.
Can be ruled out pretty quickly given he is winless in nine career starts and has failed to beat a single rival in any of his previous four starts, including at Hamilton (6f; good) when sent off 125-1.

The wisest option is to stick with the unexposed sorts. Of those, Dublin Rocker is the only one to have winning form to her name after her recent narrow victory. She should remain competitive, while See My Baby Jive looks a much improved sort on the basis of her two starts this year. We'll go with VENTURA EXPRESS though, who runs off the same mark as he did when finding a good yardstick just too good for him on handicap debut over C&D just eight days ago. He can confirm the promise of that effort and go one better. Of the remainder, Somekindasuperstar is worth forgiving her latest effort when she stumbled badly early on and could run into a place.
