Still to win a jumping contest but has posted two good hurdles efforts (runner-up both times) since returning to action in similar contests. Had the run of the race at Southwell (2m) last time off this same mark, should be competitive once more.
Took a similar Newton Abbot contest in May 2019 for Seamus Mullins prior to showing little in two chase efforts for that yard. Returned to hurdles recently on stable debut, fair effort to finish third (Emma Lamb second) at Uttoxeter, sound claims.
Fair maiden handicap hurdler when trained in Ireland but appeared to gradually lose his way. Given a spin on the Flat (didn't do badly) by this yard on GB/stable debut, returns to hurdles, perhaps on the path to rejuvenation for this local stable.
Dual C&D winner (one of two runners for local stable), latest success (August 2019) a reward for some consistency ending a long losing sequence off a much reduced mark. Ran no sort of race when last seen, has won off absence, lurks on good mark.
Arrives fit from the Flat although his efforts in that discipline remain unconvincing for the most part. Similar can be said about his four hurdles start, now makes his handicap debut over timber off a mark that looks far from generous, best watched.
Three-time hurdle winner, latest success coming for this yard at Kelso (2m) last September, well positioned in slowly-run race. Ran here five times last summer without success, can be awkward at the start (refused to line-up last intended outing).
Has failed to fire since gaining her sole hurdles victory at Newcastle (2m) on her fifth attempt over timber. As a result has a reduced mark to work with but on the flip side she does need to prove her fitness, market may provide the best guidance.
Modest on the Flat/over hurdles, latest outing on the level does provide hope if transferred to this sphere. Ran a sound second over 1m4f at Catterick (two next time out winners behind), has fitness on his side, plus career-low mark to work with.
Yet to match his fairly useful (if unreliable Flat form) in this sphere finishing well beaten on handicap debut at Stratford (2m) recently. Cheekpieces (first-time) now reached for in a bid to halt the slide, hard to be confident about chance.
Modest over hurdles but has run with credit over C&D on three occasions (placed each time). On a fair losing run but hard to crab her efforts (most have a positive) of late on the Flat, ought to be competitive off this mark returning to this sphere.

One of the more competitive races on the card with Emma Lamb and Pardon Me meeting again after they were separated by 4¼L at Uttoxeter since when the former of the duo has run another creditable race at Southwell, she won’t be far away here. Local trainer James Moffatt fields two with chances with Oakmount one who could have a say (shaped well on Flat last time) although dual C&D winner with regular pilot Charlotte Jones doing the steering might be the better option. Of those with recent sound Flat form Irish Minister isn’t out of this despite a 0-8 hurdling record but MINNIE THE MINX may be the better option. 332 over C&D her recent Flat form can provide a springboard for a hurdles success.
