Bumper/dual hurdles winner in the first half of 2019, was only seen three times in the latter half of that year. Disappointed when last seen in a Catterick handicap hurdle off this mark (started favourite), returns from absence with a bit to prove.
One hurdles win to his name on GB/hurdles debut in 2017 since when it's been mostly downhill in the handicap/form via a couple of wind ops and several absences. Well held on recent tenderly handled hurdles return, chase debut.
Nearly took advantage of a reduced mark (without usual headgear) at Southwell (3m) on the back of a Flat pipe-opener for new yard. Up 4lb for that effort, yet to win over fences (0-11), runner-up six times since last win, risky but has experience.
Chasing newcomer, below-par on return last time over 2m5f but in a far from ideal scenario concerning track/trip. Ought to be capable off this mark but suspicion is that he may need a stiffer test of stamina around a speed track such as this.
Point-to-point winner whose chasing efforts under Rules leave a lot to be desired; pulled up when last seen in this sphere over 2m at Ludlow in testing conditions. Stable struggling for form (one winner all year), 0-28 since racing resumed.
Won sole point-to-point (Open maiden) at Guilsborough by 2L; prior to catching the eye a couple of times over hurdles particularly on his last run prior to handicap debut. Below-par on debut in that sphere, quickly switched to fences off an absence.
Fair hurdler, won two handicaps as a 3yo at Fakenham/Sedgefield over 2m before failing to complete a hat-trick, below-par when last seen (jumped poorly). Goes chasing with a significant weight allowance in usual headgear, should stay, interesting.
One of two that this struggling yard run in this who remains a maiden after 14 career starts, this will be his chasing debut. Could have needed the run last time but hardly stands out as a well handicapped type, others present more persuasive cases.
Poor maiden hurdler his form over fences is, if anything worse having shown nothing in four starts over the larger obstacles. Pulled up when last seen after a blunder his chance is impossible to countenance from 16lb out of the weights.
47lb out of the handicap, 0-52 over fences (0-13 around here) are figures that make his task an almost impossible one. Ran a typical race when last seen at Stratford beaten 45.5L, would be a surprise to see him start less than 100-1.

A sextet of chasing newcomers and the winner may well be amongst them in the shape of 4yo PARICOLOUR who beat his elders in a couple of handicap hurdles last year generally running well in that sphere. His trainer, David Pipe is 9-58 with this age group over fences in handicaps winning with his last debutant chasing 4yo Teaser. Fresh New Dawn is an interesting chasing newcomer although this track/trip looks sharp enough again for him. Lough Salt wasn’t beaten far at Southwell last time and has plenty of chasing experience with Takingitallin worthy of note, a break may have done her good. Whateva Next could do better in this sphere, smart chaser Idle Talk being his half-brother.
