Looked useful at two without winning but made return from 591 days off with winning start in h'caps at Newmarket (1m, good; 2-1f). Disappointing since at York but maybe didn't stay 1m2f there so not forgotten back to 1m.
Seemed to appreciate a stiff 1m when winning at Sandown last August but found it hard work since in five starts. Gets 2lb back here but others more persuasive.
Three-time winner ran well in all of his four most recent starts with fifth of 17 at York latest another solid effort. Reward for his consistency is an unrelenting handicap mark again leaving him vulnerable.
Doncaster maiden winner last June returned from 363 days off when midfield behind Evening Sun (third here yesterday) at Newmarket. Unexposed but this looks a warm handicap.
Took record to 2-4 when winning on stable bow over 1m at Haydock last time out on good ground. Two-year-old success came on soft so rain no concern and respected here despite 6lb rise for neck success.
7f Chepstow winner at two finished second subsequently at Newbury on heavy over 1m. Below par on return in hot Newbury handicap but not one to ignore here especially if conditions turn testing.
Lingfield debut winner third but beaten a short-head in a blanket finish on handicap debut over 1m at Doncaster last month. Has to be considered off the same mark although testing ground would be a worry.
Looking back at his two-year-old form now he met some classy sorts so perhaps his improved showing first time in a handicap when second of 15 at Newbury shouldn't have been a surprise. Upped 3lb but still a leading player.
7f Lingfield winner two races ago but subsequently disappointed at Wolverhampton in March. First time on turf and one to monitor in the betting here with stable really coming into form.

Sir Michael Stoute's charge MARS LANDING ran really well at Newbury first time out and in atypical form for one from this yard he looks the sort to continue to progress so he gets the vote today. Impressive Haydock winner Risk Taker is also a big player on the back of such an effort with Strait Of Hormuz also shortlisted.
