First foal; dam unraced half-sister to 6f-7f winner Indian Landing; difficult to see him being good enough on debut.
By rising star NH sire Fame And Glory and related to plenty of bumper and hurdles winners; did not get competitive on debut at Galway last October and improvement needed.
Cost 10,000 euros and is by Yeats out of a full-sister to the useful chaser Grey Gold; fair effort on bumper debut at Wincanton in December but pulled up on hurdles debut at Ludlow when last seen; fair chance on stable debut.

By Imperial Monarch out of a Fasliyev mare; third foal; half-brother to 2m4f hurdle winner Messie; market should give an indication of stable confidence.

Well held and never nearer in five dismal efforts in bumpers so far. No realistic chance in this company.
Gelding by Dylan Thomas out of a Laveron mare. Closely related to Vinabell, winner over hurdles at 2m4f; too keen on debut earlier this month at Bellewstown; difficult to assess.

Has some fair breeding a long way back in the family line; fair bumper debut at Kilbeggan in June but pulled up on hurdles debut at Kilbeggan earlier this month.
Promising third of 12 runners beaten 6L in a Down Royal bumper in June 2019; disappointed on reappearance run recently at Bellewstown; could be better with that run under his belt.

Mustameet filly out of an Oscar mare; no real promise over hurdles on her first two racecourse appearance; showed a bit more promise on bumper debut at Bellewstown this month but unlikely to be good enough.
Second reported foal; half-sister to 3m hurdle winner Caddy Shack; placed in one of her three point-to-point outings; has promise but unlikely to be good enough.
Not sold for 1,800 euros as a four-year-old; third foal; sister to point/2m hurdle winner Aoibhe's Beau; pedigree shows promise but difficult to see her winning this on debut.

Geraldo (8/11), Knockwilliambridge (3/1), No Strangers Here (9/2), She's Got Rhythm (5/1), Case Closed (11/2), Reverse Polarity (6/1), Fairytale Bliss (8/1), Sir Neymar (16/1), She's A Cracker (25/1), Thomas Labeille (40/1), Stormy Watar (50/1), Courtinaction (50/1)

Verdict

GERALDO is likely to start at prohibitive odds but he deserves to be in a field very low on quality. The expensively bought gelding was caught flat-footed when challenged by his stablemate on his debut at Kilbeggan earlier this month. With that race under his belt, expect him to more professional here and follow up his point-to-point win of May 2019. Sir Neymar is nicely bred and it will be interesting to see the level of market support on debut while Fairytale Bliss showed promise on her debut last year and has a recent run in the bag.
  1. Geraldo
  2. Fairytale Bliss
  3. Sir Neymar
