Brazen Beau filly. Good winner on debut at Hamilton (5f, good to soft) last month. Did it with a good bit in hand today and may be more to come despite penalty. Leading claims.

Only showed some form of ability in two starts to date. Arguably regressed when 7L fifth in Musselburgh maiden (5f) at the start of the month and this is much tougher.

Pivotal filly. Made a taking debut when only beaten a neck at York (5f) on debut. That was behind a juvenile who hit the frame at Royal Ascot so it is very smart form. Shortlisted.

Fetched £15,000 as a juvenile. Half-sister to four winners, including Justifier (7f), Goodwood Crusader (6f) and Ballistic (7f). Some appeal on pedigree but thrown in at the deep end on debut and best watched.

Verdict

A smart field assemble for this novice contest and the obvious winning standard is set by Blackberry, who scored with a bit to spare on debut at Hamilton last month. However, the one who has the most taking profile is the smartly-bred CREDIBLE, who managed to get within a neck of Windsor Castle Stakes third Muker at York last time and looks to have plenty more to come. Debutante Sunset Spirit hails from a yard who are able to ready one for their first starts, however Tom Dascombe hasn't had a winner in two weeks, which is concerning.
