£210,000 yearling. Half-brother to 5f Group 2 winner Heartache, Listed placed Heartwarming (5f). Dam was a Listed winner over 5f so pedigree is all about speed. Market check for top connections on debut.
Related to some smart enough types but dwelt and was soon beaten when 11th behind smart sort at York (5f) on debut. Can probably be forgiven for that and yard and jockey are in flying form.
Promise in each of his three starts to date. Well-fancied but could only finish 4L third on return to this level at Ayr (6f) this month. Return to trip should help. Shortlisted.
Second foal. Half-sister to 6f juvenile winner Roseina's Voice. Dam was a winner between 6f and 7f and sister to multiple AW winners. Dirt pedigree but yard can ready one for their debut.
£16,500 two-year-old purchase by Group 1-winning sprinter. Dam was placed at 1m on the track, and closely related to useful winner Eastern Destiny (1m2f). Not the most taking pedigree so best watched.
Promise in both of her starts to date and built on debut effort when 1L second in 5f Hamilton novice eight days ago. Back into easier company and looks to be the one to beat.

Selected (11/4), Asadjumeirah (11/4), Salsoul (3/1), Cedric Morris (7/2), Bobby's Rose (12/1), Harswell Prince (12/1), Ghayahib (22/1)
A small but select field go to post for this contest and the form looks to be set by the filly Salsoul. Her progressive profile looks better than on paper when a respectable second when ideally not suited by making the running last time and gets a fillies' allowance. Place claims can be made for Cedric Morris, who was a no show on debut last time but should be more street-wise, and Selected, who looks more exposed than the others but is going the right way. However, a chance can be taken with debutante ASADJUMEIRAH, who was a hefty purchase, has plenty of classy precocity in his pedigree and it is notable that the owner's second-retained jockey comes here for the ride.
