Immediately improved on his juvenile form with back-to-back wins on his first two handicap starts. Hung right and ran out when leading over 2f out at Haydock (1m6f) latest, and not ruled out now visor added and back in trip from the same mark.
Improved to win a novice event on the Rowley course (1m2f, good) last month. Stepped up again on that when just held over C&D (soft) two weeks ago, on his handicap debut. Up 4lb, cheekpieces now fitted, and a big player if they help.
Bettered his three novice efforts when beaten just 1½L into second on last month's reappearance/handicap debut at Goodwood (1m2f, good). Matched that when scoring at Windsor (1m3½f) latest, and has claims despite a 6lb rise.
Improved on a respectable debut effort when winning a fillies' novice event at Ascot (1m4f, good) last time from a useful yardstick trained by John Gosden. Will need another significant step up on that on her handicap debut, but can't rule that out.
Got off the mark at the fourth attempt in a Southwell maiden (1m, AW) in February. Beaten favourite on his handicap debut at Goodwood last month, and after being well held on soft (1m3½f) at Haydock last time he now has a bit to prove.
Forecasts
Grand Bazaar (13/8), Spectrum Of Light (7/4), Jellystone (13/2), Margaret Dumont (15/2), Iron Heart (9/1)
A good way to wrap up the afternoon and despite potential dangers respected in the form of Margaret Dumont, Jellystone and Spectrum Of Light, the suggestion is to side with GRAND BAZAAR, who is going the right way, should be suited by this slightly longer trip and is taken to defy a 6lb rise.
