3/1
Off the the mark on just his second bumper start at Punchestown last year before promising effort on hurdles debut at Killarney in August; similar run at Gowran Park on return in October; has plenty of potential and experience should serve him well.
2
Horse silk
16/1
First foal; dam point winner out of half-sister to useful National Hunt performer Gonebeyondrecall; brings some very sketchy point-to-point form to the table including falling last time out; others preferred.
3
Horse silk
10/1
Shaped well on hurdling debut in a 2m½f maiden at Bellewstown earlier this month and improved to finish third at Downpatrick shortly afterwards; going in the right direction and one for the shortlist.
Cost €80,000 as a three-year-old; no show on debut in a bumper at Leopardstown in December and remote 5th of 14 on hurdles debut at Kilbeggan this month; should be more to come in time but not currently betting material.

Jack Hackett9
Age: 6|  Weight: 12-0| J: E Walsh(7)| T: Mrs D A Love| OR:  110| C
5/4
Point-to-point/bumper winner who is 0-6 over hurdles; never beaten too far in his races; really good 4th last time at Kilbeggan and should improve here and looks one of the leading players.
6
Horse silk
100/1
Aristotle gelding; closely related to some useful Flat and National Hunt performers; was disappointing in bumpers and has shown no real talent in two hurdles outings to date.
7
Horse silk
66/1
Beaten over 100 lengths and pulled up on his two starts over hurdles; last seen struggling in a bumper at Thurles; hard to see where the improvement will come from even in first-time blinkers.
8
Horse silk
Nero Rock125
Age: 5|  Weight: 12-0| J: Phillip Enright| T: M F Morris| OR:  116
9/2
Has not had the most consistent start to his hurdling career but has shown glimpses of ability; best effort came at this course over 2m in May 2019; fair chance if ready after short break.
9
Horse silk
200/1
Mainly in rear and never a factor in all of his three racecourse appearances; not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
10
Horse silk
200/1
Cost 3,500 euros as a three year-old; fourth foal; dam unraced half-sister to useful chase winner Punches Cross; always behind and never a factor on recent racecourse debut at Kilbeggan over this trip.
11
Horse silk
50/1
Finished third in only completed effort from three in point-to-points; returns from 264-day lay-off here and others obviously make more appeal.
12
Horse silk
25/1
Valued at 3,000 euros as a three-year-old; 13th foal; sister to hurdle winner Earlshill and point winner Redmond Hall, half-sister to useful jump winner Golden Sunbird; hard to assess on debut.
13
Horse silk
22/1
Cost 5,000 euros as a two year-old; fourth foal; half-brother to hurdle/chase winner Django Django; bred to get this trip on debut and will be interesting to see the level of market support for the gelding.

Horse silk
Tinas Gloryt17
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: J M Moore| T: A Donoghue
150/1
Daughter of Fame And Glory out of a Prince Of Birds mare; never able to get in contention in either of her two starts over hurdles.
Fourth foal; half-sister to very smart chase winner Western Warhorse and point winner The Hollow Man; should make a chaser in time and hard to recommend on hurdles debut.

Verdict

JACK HACKETT has been close to blooming on his last couple of starts and this could be the time he flowers. The gelding was only beaten a length last time at Downpatrick, will be fitter for that run and looks set to enjoy this step up in trip. Nero Rock struggles for consistency but does possess talent and he returns to the venue where he put his best forward when finishing runner-up over two miles. He also should appreciate this extra distance. Felino De Bersy has been quietly improving in his racing and would not need to advance too much more to be one of the contenders here.
  1. Jack Hackett
  2. Nero Rock
  3. Felino De Bersy
