60-rated maiden on the Flat for trainer Willie McCreery: returned from seven month lay off to struggle on hurdles debut at Bellewstown earlier this month; may improve but others preferred.
Useful and progressive mare on the Flat last year for Jedd O'Keeffe; well regarded but only completed one race from four over hurdles (pulled up twice in Grade company and unseated last time in a handicap); probably worth persevering with.

Showed some promise over hurdles last winter; won on the AW at Dundalk in January; has been busy without success back on turf recently; hard to assess but not short of fitness.

Salutino filly out of a Stowaway mare. Dam, once raced bumper; well beaten on bumper debut at Limerick in June and it will be interesting to see how she copes on her hurdles debut.

Won over 1m4f on the AW in March - her only win from 11 starts on the Flat; below par when last seen in first-time cheekpieces recently at Dundalk; needs to bounce back on hurdles debut.

Lightly raced on the Flat but was never beaten too far on any of her five starts; looks a very interesting recruit to hurdling and strong market support would be interesting.
Cost just 2,500 euros as a three-year-old; third foal; half-sister to point winner Not Fou Sale; dam unraced half-sister to hurdle/chase winner Inistioge; doubtful she will be sharp enough on racecourse debut.

Fairly consistent sort for Mick Channon on the Flat showing good ability up to 1m2f on different surfaces; well beaten in a few of starts over hurdles for new connections; may improve in time.
Unplaced in five outings on the flat for Gordon Elliott, with best effort coming at Roscommon last August. Tailed off over 2m at Limerick on only hurdles start; unlikely winner.

€4,000 three-year-old, Fame And Glory filly is a half-sister to fairly useful hurdler Ferrobin. Worth a market check.

Filly by Shirocco out of a Kings Theatre mare. Dam won over hurdles between 2m and 2m7f; put indifferent bumper debut behind her when running well on hurdles debut Downpatrick earlier this month; entitled to improve; leading chance.
Cost E4,500 as a three-year-old; first foal; dam unraced half-sister to very useful National Hunt performer Royal Rendezvous; market support will indicate connections are keen on her chances on debut.

Verdict

No great strength in depth from those with racecourse experience and it may pay to side with ROCK ME ROBIN who put an indifferent bumper performance behind her to run very well on her hurdles debut at Downpatrick earlier in the month. If able to progress then she may be the one they have to beat. Anna Bunina was thought highly enough of to be entered in some Graded races last year. Although generally disappointing, she may be worth another chance. Marmolata could prove the best of the unraced fillies in the line-up. She was lightly-raced but fairly consistent on the Flat and might make up into a decent hurdler.
  1. Rock Me Robin
  2. Anna Bunina
  3. Marmolata
