7lb lower mark to contend with on turf, and although he was beaten just over 10-length into fifth over C&D on seasonal debut he may improve significantly from that fitness-wise. Definitely one to consider and a market check is advised.
Yards horses continue to be in good nick, and he wasn't beaten far into fourth at Hamilton (1m; good to soft) recently after regaining winning thread at Redcar (1m; good to firm). Won off higher marks than this before, and now tries 1m2f.
Modest strike-rate (1-38). However, he has been running well this summer and his effort at Hamilton (1m1f; good) last week can be forgiven given he was stopped for a run at the 2f & 1f pole. Only 4lb above last winning mark and strongly considered.
Showed glimpse of ability on just one occasion last year. Minor promise offered when fifth at Leicester (1m; good to firm) but he would need to build on that to have place claims which doesn't look guaranteed. Can be left alone.
Only had the one start over this trip so may be worth chancing again. Represented herself well in defeat the last twice, and her recent fourth at Thirsk (1m; good) has since been franked by the winner.
Last two career victories have came over this C&D, most recently in July 2019. Claims on her Ripon (1m3f; good) second in August, but likely to need this first run in 291 days and ended 2019 on a sour note.
Only had four starts but no improvement shown on handicap debut when seventh at Musselburgh (1m; good). Needs the step up to 1m2f to bring about significant improvement, and although this is a weak race she still has questions to answer.
Dropped into a classified stakes race when fourth at Ripon (1m2f; good) on seasonal return. That was the most she has shown in her eight-race career so far, but is not one to bank on building upon that run.
Switch to better ground and drop back to 1m2f seen him finish closer when sixth at Ripon (1m2f; good). Needs to raise his game significantly given his profile doesn't spark immediate enthusiasm.

Quite a tricky looking puzzle to solve with the safest option probably GLOBAL EXCEED as he is open to more improvement than the rest for the step up to 1m2f with the Karen Tutty yard operating at a 33% strike-rate (2-6) over the past two weeks. It would be dangerous to take the recent eighth-placed finishing position of Imperial Focus at face value, as he endured a luckless passage when down the field at Hamilton. If getting more luck in-running it would be no surprise to see him bounce back. The rest of the field have a bit to prove, but Contrast should not be ignored given he is favourably treated on turf, while Easy Desire is still lightly raced.
