Good winner of an Irish bumper (for Henry De Bromhead) at Limerick last month, travelling and staying on well late to score. Now with new connections and has penalty for that, but this does not look a strong event.

Closely related to some useful hurdlers/chasers, will want further in time. Showed some ability on only bumper start at Huntingdon but that was at the start of 2019, and he's not been seen since. Best watched.
Homebred full-brother to multiple Grade 1 hurdles winner Honeysuckle. Yard not known for success in this sphere, but won't have had many with this sort of profile. Shortlisted.
Showcasing gelding that has a mix of speed and stamina in the family, but a rare runner in this sphere for the yard and is best watched.
Pulled up in only start in a point-to-point, which hardly bodes well for his chances here. Others readily make more appeal.

Shamardal gelding that is bred to possibly have a bit more speed about him that a few of these, but yard a bit slow to get going after the resumption of racing, and others preferred.

Half-sister to a 20f hurdles winner in Rock On Bennie, made a satisfactory introduction when a staying-on fifth in a bumper here earlier in the month and will know more here.
Dapper filly that should have a bit of speed about her but makes only limited appeal on pedigree, and yard 0-19 in bumpers last five seasons.

16/1
Mount Nelson filly that's likely to want more of a stamina test in time, and disconcerting to see both the hood and tongue-tie on for her debut today. Good jockey booked but yard just 1-26 in bumpers last five seasons.

Forecasts

Train Hill (4/5), Mini Crest (4/1), Last Royal (6/1), Raiff (7/1), Ta Daah (16/1), Jakamani (40/1), Dapper Daisy (40/1), Court Informant (40/1), My Perfect Cousin (50/1)

Verdict

Train Hill already has a win under his belt, but the form of it isn't strong and he might be vulnerable under the penalty. Mini Crest is bound to know more after her debut here at the beginning of the month but LAST ROYAL makes plenty of appeal, being a brother to the top-class mare Honeysuckle, and she is a very interesting contender here. She could represent each-way value against the likely favourites.
  1. Last Royal
  2. Train Hill
  3. Mini Crest
