Promise in maidens last year for John Oxx has disappeared; no luck over hurdles having joined this yard and well held last month on the level at Gowran Park and the Curragh. Refitting of tongue tie/cheekpieces and Joey Sheridan's claim may help.
Just one win in 16 starts; a heavy-ground 7f Gowran Park maiden in May 2018; has beaten little home in recent 1m starts at the Curragh and Navan leaving few positives. Hood returns.
Likeable sort who rarely gives anything but his best; just 2-21 on turf however. Pleasing return at Fairyhouse (6f, good to yielding; 18-1) this month and should be competitive again up in trip from unchanged mark.
Mare with just a single win from 22 career starts on turf (3-16 on AW); went close over C&D (beaten a head by Airgead) on return this month but much less convincing 10 days later here. Depends which version shows up now.
Winning return at Gowran Park over this trip last month (good to firm; 15-2) and caught the eye coming through traffic to be fourth next start Limerick (1m, good; 4-1). Competitive but has lost his claiming rider and so things are tougher now.
0-8. Showed a bit more last time when fifth at Navan (1m; yielding to soft) after running well below-par on seasonal reappearance. More needed as he drops in trip on fourth run for this trainer but he could run into a place.
Has done all her winning from lower marks (5-25 on turf) but ran a cracker last time over 1m here (1L third of 12); unlucky to be nudged up to career-high mark in defeat.
Flying this season, going close over 1m here on reappearance and quickly putting behind poor run at Naas with Cork third (7f) and Navan win (1m, yielding to soft; 13-2) a fortnight ago; 12lb higher mark now may ground her for time being.
Mile winner here last summer and hit the mark again over C&D at the start of this month when reeling in Highly Approved late on; 4lb higher now but can go well again, especially if there's plenty pace on.
Fitted with tongue-tie in two runs this season having joined new trainer; lightly-raced filly is going the right way and was only just denied at Cork (7f, good; 33-1) 18 days ago under this rider; solid claims again from 2lb higher.
Naas maiden winner over 6f last summer; best effort so far in handicaps when ¾L third of 11 at Fairyhouse (6f, good to yielding; 5-1cf) on return this month (Takeachancejimmy fourth); should be in the mix with Gavin Ryan on board claiming 5lb.
Tumbling mark following three poor turf runs last month at 6f/7f; better effort latest on the AW at Dundalk from this perch but needs to back that up in competitive heat here.
Gained both turf wins at Ayr last summer over 6f; competitive without looking like winning in three starts recently and with handicap mark continuing to slide; he's one that should put it all together again soon.
Bellewstown maiden winner over 1m in 2018 and also landed Dundalk claimer in October last; has beaten precious little in three runs for latest trainer however and clearly one to be wary of at the minute.
Likeable sort probably deserves to have more than one win from 26 starts on turf (placed eight times); good fourth over C&D last time when making up ground late and could pick up a race again soon. Ben Coen's claim also helps today.

Forecasts
Drumquina (9/2), Lady Scathach (13/2), Airgead (7/1), Silk Cravat (15/2), Cartesienne (9/1), Highly Approved (9/1), Tai Sing Yeh (10/1), Darkened (10/1), Bay Of Skaill (10/1), Mulzamm (12/1), Calonne (12/1), Takeachancejimmy (14/1), Cracking Name (20/1), Time Stands Still (22/1), La Novia (25/1), Sagittarius Rising (66/1), Scream (150/1)
Airgead likes it here and is fairly-treated for his recent C&D success while Silk Cravat was an eyecatcher in fourth last week and should be on the premises. Lady Scathach has plenty more on her plate now but her recent Navan win gives a real nod to CARTESIENNE, who finished a place in front of her when second at Cork 18 days ago. The fourth from that contest also won her next start and this lightly-raced filly is capable from a 2lb higher perch. Drumquina is another with scope in handicaps after a fine comeback at Fairyhouse while Tai Sing Yeh is back on a winning mark now and dangerous as such.
- Cartesienne
- Drumquina
- Silk Cravat
