Drops back to 5f after being beaten half-a-length at this track by the outsider of the field at this track last week. Player if managing to run to that sort of level again as he could be well treated.
His last six career wins have all came at Chester. 1lb below last winning mark after a trio of quiet efforts of late, but is used to running in slightly higher grade races. May appreciate the ease in class.
4lb below last winning mark, and showed encouraging signs when fourth at Doncaster (5f; good) on his penultimate start. Unable to back that up when well-held at York (5f; good) in a very competitive event.
Out of form the last twice, and doesn't look especially well-treated. His last three wins all came on ground with juice in, which he is unlikely to get in this race. May be one for the autumn when softer ground arrives & he is on a lower mark.
Not beaten a single rival in any of his previous four starts (all of which have came on the AW). Questions to answer, but he does go well fresh so could be one to monitor in the market on return from short-break.
Much more positive signs latest when third in a tight finish at Haydock (5f; soft) at the weekend. Could be ready to strike again now 1lb below his last winning mark. Market vibes could prove significant.
First-time visor needs to bring about significant improvement on his recent efforts. 28lb below the mark he scored off on the AW last March. Claims on two placed efforts here last season, but doesn't look anywhere near ready to recapture that form.

Forecasts
Abel Handy (6/5), Indian Sounds (3/1), Canford Bay (10/3), Duke Of Firenze (7/1), Jungle Speed (7/1), Wrenthorpe (8/1), Airshow (12/1), Auckland Lodge (12/1), Powerallied (14/1), Alsvinder (18/1)
After threatening to get back to winning ways recently, Abel Handy should be on the scene once again. Meanwhile, both Auckland Lodge and Powerallied shouldn't be completely ruled out given they have been contesting some competitive races in a slightly higher grade. Jungle Speed is interesting after he posted his best effort for some time when third on his stable debut. Similarly, Canford Bay finished third at Haydock just four days ago and he could be well handicapped now 1lb below his last winning mark. We'll take INDIAN SOUNDS to complete the hat-trick though given Paul Midgley has seemingly found the key to him and he is now in career-best form.
