Has taken well to hurdling and jumped slickly to record good ground wins at Newton Abbot and Bangor. Made all on latest and although she has to carry a double penalty, her experience over hurdles will stand her in good stead.

Rare runner on Flat for this yard when making only racecourse appearance at Windsor last autumn and showed plenty of promise despite proving very keen. Was backed at big odds on that occasion and now wears hood for hurdling debut.

Beaten miles on sole start on the Flat over 1m4f at Kempton recently and looked a hard ride as well. Now wears tongue-tie for this switch to hurdling.

No promise at huge odds on three Flat runs at up to 1m when trained in Ireland. Makes debut in this sphere for trainer having first ever runner.

Has raced keenly and showed little in the way of ability in trip of maidens on the Flat at huge odds up to 1m4f, and needs this switch in codes to transform him.

62 rated maiden on the Flat but the pair of handicaps he contested this summer have been warm affairs that have thrown up winners. Sure to have been well schooled and interesting now switching to hurdles for stable that do well here.

Landed gamble when winning over 1m on the AW at Wolverhampton in January when with Gordon Elliott and pipped on debut for this stable at Kempton in March. Probably needed recent run and interesting now switching to hurdling with fitness assured.

Poor maiden on Flat over a variety of trips and rating of 61 in that sphere looks flattering. Tongue-tie goes on for this debut over hurdles.

Tailed off last of six on sole Flat run over 1m2f at Deauville in May. Market may guide now going hurdling for stable who had a winner over jumps last week.

Swell Swilly17
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-12| J: J McGrath| T: C Hills
28/1
Has shown nothing in three maidens at up to 1m2f on the Flat this year. Rare runner over jumps for this stable and needs the switch in codes to bring about big improvement.

Forecasts

Hiconic (11/10), Kings Creek (5/2), Bannister (4/1), Pink Jazz (14/1), Royal Bassett (22/1), Swell Swilly (28/1), Salento (40/1), Clan Spirit (50/1), Fiach Stoney (80/1), Dragon Man (100/1)

Verdict

HICONIC has taken really well to hurdles and her experience will stand her in good stead against a field of newcomers and she can complete the hat-trick. Bannister showed ability on sole Flat start last October despite been keen, and it will be interesting to see if the money comes for him again. Kings Creek and Pink Jazz and others of interest in a race where the market should give a useful guide.
