Have to go back to 2018 to find last win but ran perfectly well to finish second off this mark at Musselburgh in February. Not the most consistent but acts on all ground and drops in grade, so a decent run wouldn't surprise.
Got his head in front (for Paul Nicholls) last year but his season ended not long after that and he's now changed yards. Hood tried tonight but he might not be one to fully trust at this stage. Conditions fine.
Some promise in novice hurdles last year but well beaten on handicap debut in February. Has since finished runner-up in a Jumpers Bumper at Newcastle and is young enough to improve, so has to be given a second look at least.
Pops up from time to time and is now 5lb lower than last win, which came over C&D last year. Has twice won after a break (although admittedly not this long) so may be best fresh. Too well handicapped to discount.
Still a maiden after 14 starts but nearly rectified that when a neck second at Catterick in January, almost getting up late on. Might want a drop more rain but trip fine and if fit, has place chances at worst.
Won back-to-back handicaps in the spring of 2019 but not quite up to that standard in two subsequent starts (far from disgraced). Worry might be this trip, which she's yet to show she really wants, but chances if staying.
Hasn't been seen out for two years and only looked modest, even back then. No reason to suspect he will have improved for the time off, and can only be watched here.
Only six but seems to have been around for ages, winner of just three of his 42 starts but one of those wins came when last seen over hurdles at Wetherby in March. Has had a couple of runs on the Flat, but this trip an unknown.
Just the one win under all codes in 22 starts so far, but is fairly unexposed over hurdles and hasn't been disgraced on the Flat recently. Possible he has more to offer and from such a lowly mark, isn't discounted.

Forecasts
Karamoko (7/2), Trongate (4/1), Lastofthecosmics (5/1), Oceanus (5/1), Raymond (11/2), Lough Kent (7/1), Court Baloo (7/1), Southfield Torr (7/1), Gripper (15/2), Southeast Rose (10/1), Lady Samback (12/1), Burlington Bert (28/1)
The first division of this low-grade handicap sees potential improvers in the shape of Raymond, Karamoko and lurking at the foot of the handicap Gripper, but COURT BALOO has far less to prove than any of them and was successful in better company than this last year. This drop in trip is a slight concern but that aside, he has plenty going for him.
