Won back-to-back handicap chases in the spring of 2019 but has found life harder since, and has been a touch expensive to follow. Conditions ideal again and should run his race, but may find something better handicapped.
Useful enough chaser at this level when last seen but that was back in the winter of 2018. Handicapper has given him a chance if he still retains his ability, and condiitons are fine, but off such an absence he is risky.
Just three wins in 54 starts, two of them over fences, but jumping frailties came back to haunt him last season (two unseats) and no saying this trip will bring about a better effort either. Others preferred.
Second over 20f (heavy ground) on chase debut last November but went backwards in three further chase starts after that. Plenty to prove now but is at least open to improvement, so cannot be ruled out.
Pops up occasionally when his solid jumping pays dividends, as it did from a 3lb lower mark at Hexham last year, but this trip rather stretches his stamina and he may well need this run after an absence anyway.
Well handicapped on his C&D win here in 2018 (now 6lb lower) but it was a tale of woe last year and he simply looks on the downgrade now. Possible that fresh is the time to catch him, but he's very risky.
Only 1lb higher than last win, which came over 3m at Hexham last year, but he finished the season off weakly and bottom line is that he's only won five of his 54 Rules starts, so is no win machine. Others preferred.
Had a good time of it last summer, winning a point-to-point and back-to-back handicap chases. Still on a fair mark and this sound-jumping front-runner can't be allowed too much rope or he might be hard to peg back.
The odd effort since joining this yard last summer makes you think there's a race or two in him, but takes a huge step up in trip today and that's far from certain to suit.
Looking to make it 42nd time lucky tonight but at the age of 12, and in no great form when last seen, may have to wait for another night before gaining that elusive first victory.

Forecasts
Walkin In The Rain (5/2), Prince Dundee (3/1), Dutch Canyon (7/2), Rising Marienbard (6/1), Istimraar (15/2), Havana Jack (14/1), Brotherly Company (14/1), Amilliontimes (16/1), Apache Pilot (16/1), Reverse The Charge (20/1), Quick Brew (25/1), Jackofhearts (40/1)
Dutch Canyon is bound to give this a good go from the front and has chances of making all if left alone to do his thing, but RISING MARIENBARD has younger legs and is open to some improvement after a wind operation and back on better ground, so gets the vote. Walkin In The Rain is one of a few risky charges here but might be capable of better, and any money around for Brotherly Company on his stable debut for a yard that know the time of day, would make him of interest too.
