33/1
Lightly-raced 91-rated handicap hurdler, last seen jumping a fence in a Fairyhouse beginners chase in November 2018. First time hood unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

Not seen on a racecourse for 12 months, well held over hurdles at Limerick. Fell on sole start over the larger obstacles in a Tramore hunter chase last June. Needs to improve on even his best form.
Winner of one of his 15 career starts over timber. 98-rated handicap hurdler, finished third of 13 beaten over 15L on sole start over fences at Cork in January 2019. Plenty more needed in this company.

Six-race maiden over hurdles, falling on latest start at Limerick last month. No surprise to witness progress in the Gold Well gelding on first start over the larger obstacles.

Useful 97-rated handicap hurdler, but lightly raced in the last two years. Hard to place any faith in on chasing debut.
7

Decent sort over hurdles, managing a 93-rating over hurdles. Can give a good account on chasing debut without posing serious threat to principals.

Far from disgraced in a number of starts over hurdles around the turn of the year. Could be one to follow once handicaps come round but still worth a check in the market all the same.
9
Horse silk
12/1
104-rated handicap hurdler who will need to improve on a dismal effort on chasing debut in a Tipperary beginners contest earlier this month.
Better efforts for the seven-race maiden have come over the trip of 2m. Could be a lively outsider making debut over fences.

Modest 90-rated handicap hurdler the daughter of Westerner showed some promise at Sligo in September on second chase start but has failed to complete in her two most recent starts over fences. Fell late on on both starts, better expected on return.

Well beaten and never nearer in a couple of starts in the last 12 months including when last seen in February. Appears to have a mountain to climb on return to action on chasing debut.

Running well in defeat in a couple of starts since racing resumed last month. Should be a leading contender back over this trip and capable of a big run.

Winner of two of her 23 starts over hurdles, the latest coming in a Gowran Park handicap over 2m in October. Worth a check in the market on chasing introduction.

A winner on the Flat for Joseph O'Brien in September before a number of mixed efforts over hurdles for current connections. Hasn't looked a winner in waiting just yet and best watched on chasing debut.

Rebel Waltz (4/1), Thisonesforollie (4/1), Iamastartoo (5/1), Guttural (11/2), Severus Alexander (11/2), Global Fert (7/1), Man On The Run (10/1), Janeymac (12/1), Belle West (12/1), Ourauldman (12/1), Wild Desire (14/1), Epsilon Indi (20/1), Magistralis (20/1), Can't Be Done (33/1), Doyen Bay (50/1), I've Got Rhythm (50/1)

Verdict

It may pay to take a chance with BELLE WEST in the closing race of the day. Out of luck when falling late on in a couple of starts over the larger obstacles when last seen in October/November, it can be expected that the seven-year-old will have been well schooled since. Thisonesforollie can emerge as the biggest threat following a decent effort on her penultimate start over a similar trip on seasonal debut last month. Global Fert for trainer Declan Queally and Magistralis for the Liz Doyle can compete for minor honours.
  1. Belle West
  2. Thisonesforollie
  3. Magistralis
