Well beaten when last seen at Taunton (2m7f, soft) in February having won a chase at Worcester (2m4f, good/soft) in August off an 8lb lower mark. No great record fresh and with his attitude under scrutiny the handicapper looks to be in control.
Dual hurdles winner last season when with Keith Dalgleish, looked promising for same yard when sent chasing (second both times). Looked rather rusty on return/stable debut over 2m here recently, hard to get a handle on at the moment.
Joined a good yard (made a good start to new season); shown some useful form over fences in Ireland but looked rather lack lustre when last seen. 0-6 over fences, could well be rejuvenated by the move, not on a bad mark, note a market move.
Fairly useful over fences (2-9), won a small-field handicap chase when last seen (beat a useful mare) over 2m3f at Doncaster. Returns from a significant absence off the same mark, yard amongst the winners, interesting if wound up for this.
Formerly inconsistent sort who often failed to deliver when asked, has looked a reformed if still rather quirky character of late (needs everything to fall right). Likely to have needed the run on return (2m7f not disgraced), chance on best form.
Showed the benefit of an AW run when producing something near his best hurdles form to score a surprise chase win at Stratford (2m5f). Suited by the way the race developed (held-up off strong pace), up 6lb, needs a similar scenario to score again.
Showed some aptitude over fences in his one previous try in this sphere when trained in Ireland. Looked laboured on his stable/GB debut over hurdles earlier in the year (well backed), wind op since, tries fences again off a career-low mark.
Not seen over fences since falling heavily at Wetherby (December 2018), kept to hurdles ever since producing one standout effort over 2m having slipped in weights. Below-par when last seen, now returns to fences off lenient mark if jumping holds up.
Took a while to get the hang of fences not winning until seventh start last summer but quickly following up with a bold jumping display at Newton Abbot (2m5f). Pipe opener over hurdles recently looked mundane, needs to show more returned to fences.

Hard to find an outstanding candidate amongst this group but with the Olly Murphy yard having made such a fair start to the season ST LAWRENCE GAP on stable debut is taken to find his feet again having been third to subsequent Arkle winner Put The Kettle On at Tipperary last July. A literal reading of that form would make him look well handicapped here. Romanor will need another fast-paced race to repeat his Stratford win where he may have had a fitness advantage. Both Aeglos and Mon Palois looks to have handicapping scope but need to prove themselves over fences while a market move for long-time absent Buster Thomas should be noted.
