Took advantage of a falling handicap mark to record his first frame finish in his nine race career last time out at Tipperary; handicapper has raised him again but should run his race.
Generally consistent AW performer on the Flat; only lightly raced over hurdles and yet to make his mark including when last seen on handicap debut at Gowran Park last October.
Won a maiden hurdle over similar trip at Kilbeggan in the summer but nowhere near as effective in three handicaps since. Pulled up on latest start in December and hard to fancy.
Had been in solid and consistent form since winning over course and distance last August but lost his way towards the end of the year; just 2lb higher than last winning mark but has long absence to overcome.
Slightly better hurdler than she is over the larger obstacles but is still without a win in 12 starts over timber following a mid-division finish last time at Bellewstown; much more needed.
Has been on the downgrade over fences and hurdles for the past year; has won plenty of races in the past and starting to look well handicapped but still hard to recommend with confidence despite slightly improved effort last time at Kilbeggan.
Very little to be positive about following a couple of dismal efforts at Listowel and Roscommon in September last year and on reappearance run at Limerick in June.
Has been generally disappointing since winning at Downpatrick (2m6f) last August; races off a 3lb lower mark here but recent form does not suggest she is ready to get back to winning ways.
Broke maiden tag over course and distance four starts ago, but has been unable to follow that up; well beaten on reappearance run recently at Kilbeggan but looks reasonably handicapped.
Has fairly miserable form over hurdles (in 2017) and latest efforts in point-to-points have been underwhelming; hard to see him getting competitive.
Now into the veteran stages of his career and 14lb lower than last winning mark; slightly improved effort last time at Tipperary but perhaps needs to drop a few more pounds to get ultra-competitive.
Mare of little note when racing in the UK in 2019; generally finishes well beaten and very difficult to make a case for unless change of scenery has perked her up.

ELEGANT DAN possibly hit the front too soon last time at Tipperary and was outstayed in the closing stages. With a bit more luck in this weaker-looking contest he might be ready to record his first racecourse victory despite a slight rise in the weights. Rathnaleen Tou can race just 3lb higher than when winning well over course and distance in May 2019. She will be sharper for a recent run at Kilbeggan and should appreciate the expected underfoot conditions. Bracka Lily has been struggling lately but does have a good completion rate and has been given a chance by the handicapper. She has fair place possibilities.
- Elegant Dan
- Rathnaleen Tou
- Bracka Lily
