Four-time winner from 1m-1m2f on good ground or softer. Back on the same mark as his last two wins, and going the right way again based on his two most recent runs. Should be thereabouts.
0-11 so far, but has picked up prize money on several occasions, and did so again last time out at Pontefract (1m2f, good to firm). Needs to find a bit more to win from the same mark, but should be competitive.
Scored here over 1m (good) as a juvenile when with Hugo Palmer and added two AW successes at Wolverhampton (1m1½f) in 2018. 0-8 for this trainer and has now dropped 20lb in the handicap in 11-months. Cheekpieces go on. Interesting.
Earned back-to-back wins over 1m at Newmarket (good to soft) and Leicester (good) last summer, when with Stef Keniry, and improved after that despite not winning again. Capable from this mark and can go well fresh. Stays 1m4f. Considered.
Came good at the eighth attempt when scoring at Doncaster (1m2f, good to firm) last time, keeping on well to have 3L to spare. 6lb rise is hard to argue with after that, and she is much respected.
Multiple winner from 1m-1m2f, but is without success since 2017 and has plummeted in the handicap since. Made a respectable stable debut at Pontefract earlier this month, and should be competitive now 2lb lower. Hood goes on.
Nine-race maiden who has gone close several times both on AW and turf. Beaten just ½L at Bath (1m2f, good to firm) last month, and has to be considered an each-way player from the same mark, although yet to race on slow ground.
Dead-heated for a win on a Dundalk maiden (1m2½f, AW) on his second start for Joseph O'Brien last year. Has been a long way below that level in three runs since, the last two since joining this trainer. Can only watch at present.
Back to form with one of his better efforts when just over 3L third of 11 in a Doncaster handicap (1m2f, good to firm) last time. Has been dropped 1lb despite that, so can't rule out another very competitive effort.
Returned from a break to record her maiden success in a Wolverhampton handicap (1m½f, AW) last month, when 7lb lower. Went close next time after a 3lb rise, but held despite two good efforts since. More needed.

Forecasts
Potenza (7/2), Love Explodes (9/2), Baryshnikov (5/1), Harlow (5/1), Zlatan (11/2), Sands Chorus (6/1), Al Daiha (9/1), Queen Mia (10/1), Red Derek (14/1), Star Archer (28/1), Vivax (125/1)
This looks competitive for its grade, and cases can be made for plenty of them. The suggestion is to take a chance on STAR ARCHER, who has course winning form, sees out this trip and has dropped to a very handy mark. Headgear may also help. Zlatan should be thereabouts despite topweight, and Potenza is another likely contender. Love Explodes can be added to the short-list.
- Star Archer
- Zlatan
- Potenza
