Back to form when producing a career-best to score over C&D (good to soft) last time out, when always holding the second. Front three were 5L clear there, and although she will need improvement to defy a penalty, that is not ruled out.
Four-time AW winner over 7f, but is 0-11 on turf. Has made the frame a couple of times on this surface, over 6f/7f, but needs to be a lot better than he was on his return from a break at Chelmsford last month.
Prolific winner from 7f-1m (stays 1m2f) on all types of ground. Now on an 11-race losing run, but ran creditably over C&D on his reappearance last month, and if you can forgive his latest Redcar effort, he can't be ruled out.
Showed some promise as a juvenile, but has not delivered on that since entering handicaps. Yet to make the frame in eight attempts. Mark now beginning to tumble and headgear goes on, so check the market for any confidence.
Scored here over 1m2f in 2017, but has been unable to add another success to his CV and is now on a 24-race losing run. That said, he went very close at Thirsk last time (1m, good) and should be in the shake-up again from the same mark.
Inconsistent, but wasn't beaten far when 1lb higher at Wolverhampton (7f, AW) on her penultimate start. Acts on good ground and shapes as though she will see this out. Has to put a below par effort to bed, but no surprise to see her go close.
Has shown glimpses of ability, including last time out when 2L fourth in a similar handicap at Lingfield (1m, AW). Nudged up 1lb for that, and blinkers now go one. Can't rule him out.
Didn't show much as a juvenile, but looked to be improving on his first two starts this seasons, both over this C&D on a sound surface. Soft ground probably to blame when beaten favourite at Chepstow latest, but he looks a probable contender.
Made the frame in a Chelmsford fillies' novice event (6f, AW) last October, but well below that level of form in three subsequent handicaps. Others press stronger claims.
Moderate performer who has yet to finish in the frame in nine outings on either turf or AW surfaces. Has had wind surgery since last seen in March and also changed stables. Tongue-tie goes on, but looks one to watch from 1lb 'wrong'.

Forecasts
Burguillos (3/1), Blairlogie (3/1), Liam's Lass (7/2), Bad Company (6/1), Pettinger (17/2), Abushamah (11/1), Parknacilla (14/1), Falacho (20/1), Axel Jacklin (33/1), Parker's Boy (40/1), Tony's Rocket (66/1)
Liam's Lass has to be taken very seriously under her penalty after scoring last time, but the suggestion is to take her on with PETTINGER. Gay Kelleway's filly can blow hot and cold, but she should be suited by this step up in trip and has a squeak from this mark. Blairlogie is feared, while cases can also be made for both Burguillos and Abushamah.
- Pettinger
- Liam's Lass
- Blairlogie
