Running woth credit in defeat in a number of starts since returning to action last month, started at odds of 250/1 on penultimate run at Tipperary. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
Lightly-raced mare over the last 12 months. Debut over the larger obstacles earlier this month did not go to plan and the daughter of Mount Nelson reverts back to hurdles here.
Busy mare this year with a number of starts on the AW at Dundalk interspersed with a couple of spins over timber including running Mengli Khan to 1L at this venue earlier this month. More needed but one for the shortlist.
Winner at this track who has also won over a similar trip. Won over fences earlier this month at Roscommon and may take some beating returning over hurdles in this company.
Won for a second time over hurdles landing a Bellewstown hurdle over 2m½f on good ground earlier this month. More progress possible in this contest.
Mixed up hurdles and bumpers last season and showed plenty of promise in both spheres. Off the mark at the fifth time of asking for connections landing a Roscommon 2m maiden hurdle last month. May need a couple to falter.
Winner of a Ballinrobe bumper in August, the daughter of Montmartre has been well held in a couple of spins over hurdles so far. Looks a tall order on return to action.
No signs of improvement in five career starts over hurdles since making her debut in August. Others appear to have more scope for improvement.
Forecasts
Laura Bullion (3/1), Jaime Sommers (7/2), Make My Heart Fly (9/2), Effernock Fizz (5/1), Bonarc (7/1), Rescue Package (15/2), Havingagoodtime (10/1), Our Nancy (400/1)
The Gordon Elliott yard landed a four-timer on Wednesday and can continue in good form with the daughter of Stowaway, MAKE MY HEART FLY. The mare can back up her victory at Roscommon on Monday to win for the second time in a week at the expense of the improving Noel Meade-trained filly Laura Bullion who appears to be the biggest threat. The Tony Mullins-trained Rescue Package should be checked in the market as post time approaches, while C&D winner Jaime Sommers and Bonarc, winner at Roscommon last month appear capable of hitting the frame.
- Make My Heart Fly
- Laura Bullion
- Rescue Package
