Gradually coming to hand with some solid efforts last term and put up encouraging return when 2L third at Newmarket (1m2f) last month. Not penalised for that and has a good opportunity to get his head in front.
Well-beaten behind Group 2 winner Frankly Darling on debut but stepped up on that when 4L second at Windsor (1m2f) on latest start. Likely to still be progressive but opening mark is high enough.
Showing some promise in novice events and looked to be getting the hang of things when 4L third in 7f Newmarket novice in late June. Drops into this easier company but is markedly up in trip for this.
Good ability without winning in each start last term and culminated that with 3L fifth at Newmarket (7f, soft) in October. Makes seasonal reappearance/handicap debut and should come on for this effort.
Fourth in all three juvenile starts last term and shaped well on handicap debut when 2L third at Wolverhampton (1m) last month. Steps up in trip but appears to be only moderately treated once more.
Ran well on both starts to date, finishing second in each and showed good staying ability when second at Leicester (1m2f) last month after missing the break. Capable of plenty off opening mark. Leading claims.
Shaped well on both juvenile starts last term, culminating with good 2L third of 15 in 7f Lingfield novice in a year ago. Not seen since however and entitled to need this after long lay-off.
Looks to be one of the more exposed in the field but shaped with some promise despite being outpaced second in 1m3f handicap at this venue last month. Place claims but vulnerable to progressive sorts.
Bumped into 2000 Guineas winner Kameko last term and ran well enough when 3L fourth in 1m Wolverhampton maiden on return. Mark is workable but showed speed on all three starts so trip is some concern.
Four-time maiden but yet to really trouble to principles, including 5L sixth in 1m2f Newcastle handicap in early June. Eased 2lb for that but this looks a strong renewal for this type of company.

This looks to be an above-average renewal of this type of maiden handicap contest, and one who looks to have sneaked in a likeable opening mark is NASRAAWY. His winning chance last term was hampered by a sluggish start, but he seemingly thrived off the trip and looks to be the type to significantly progress with racing. At the top of the weights, both Slade King and Rocket Rod have shaped as if winning is around the corner, especially the latter after running with great credit in a hot Newcastle maiden two starts ago, but aren't treated the best in this, while My Poem cannot be ignored given her trainers impeccable record with these sorts, but doesn't get any respite from the handicapper.
