3/1
1m AW Flat winner who is 0-7 over hurdles, but has been placed three times in this discipline, including over C&D last September, when 2lb lower. Still open to a bit of improvement and acts on good ground. Should be thereabouts.

Incredible Dream13
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-9| J: Joshua Moore| T: C Allen| OR:  97
20/1
Dual Flat winner over 1m2f/1m4f, both with cut in the ground. Well held in all five starts over hurdles, three of them at this track, but has slipped to a more realistic mark now and is not ruled out.

Emily Webb290
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-6| J: Harry Bannister| T: A M Hales| OR:  94
11/2
Mostly moderate form over hurdles, but produced her best effort when 6L second in a Market Rasen handicap hurdle (2m2½f, good) when last seen in September. Up 3lb for this reappearance, so more needed.

25/1
Won a juvenile hurdle at Ludlow (2m, good) three years ago, but now on a lengthy losing run and is not easy to recommend on anything he was showing in 2018, or on his recent return from a lengthy absence.

Collodip159
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-6| J: C Brace(3)| T: C R Dore| OR:  94| D
14/1
Multiple hurdles winner at up to 2m1f, on good or soft ground. 7lb lower here than his latest win, at Sedgefield in April 2019. Good effort when runner-up at Doncaster in February. More needed from 1lb higher, but not ruled out.

Metatrons Cube119
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: Jamie Bargary| T: S-J Davies| OR:  92
33/1
1m2f handicap winner on the Flat in 2018 and has twice gone close over hurdles. However, that was some time ago and he is impossible to recommend on his efforts of the past year.

Celtic Artisanp,t29
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-2| J: C O'Farrell| T: R Menzies| OR:  90| D
9/1
Held on the Flat in recent starts and hasn't won over hurdles since 2015, although hasn't raced over them since 2017. On a workable mark, but hard to make a strong case for him.

Raving Bonkersh245
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-1| J: R Johnson| T: M Keighley| OR:  89| D
9/2
Won a fast ground Towcester bumper on debut in October 2017, but is on a losing run of 11 since. Made the frame from a higher mark at Fontwell last year, but held in two runs since. On a very handy mark, and hood goes on, but more needed.

Court Dancer127
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-13| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR:  87
7/1
0-8 so far and has been well held in all starts so far. Handicap mark is tumbling as a result, but he has still got to prove he is capable of taking advantage.

Horse silk
Scotsbrook Nightt377
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-11| J: M Goldstein| T: S Lycett| OR:  85
17/2
Scored once over hurdles at Stratford (2m2½f, good) in August 2018, when on this mark. Has only visited the racecourse three times since then, and although not written off, she is perhaps best watched on her first run for a year.

Milford Lass1096
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-8| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: D J Jeffreys| OR:  82
14/1
Placed twice on AW at Dundalk over 1m2½f in 2016. Beaten a long way on her three previous runs over hurdles, and impossible to make a case for her on her first start since 2017.

Forecasts

Glendun (3/1), Raving Bonkers (9/2), Going Mobile (5/1), Emily Webb (11/2), Court Dancer (7/1), Scotsbrook Night (17/2), Celtic Artisan (9/1), Collodi (14/1), Milford Lass (14/1), Incredible Dream (20/1), Hazamar (25/1), Metatrons Cube (33/1)

Verdict

Old stager Collodi might still have races in him and it would not surprise if this was one of them, but the suggestion here is GOING MOBILE, who has been running well over fences and might have been found a good opportunity to break his duck over hurdles. Glendun, Incredible Dream and Raving Bonkers are not ruled out.
  1. Going Mobile
  2. Collodi
  3. Raving Bonkers
