Made a big improvement on her third and most recent start for this trainer, when just under 3L third in a Warwick novices' hurdle (2m5f, good to firm) last September. Initial mark stiff, but no surprise if she improves again on her chase debut.
Wetherby specialist who is effective over this trip on good ground or slower. 9lb lower than his last win, though that was almost three years ago. Well held on the Flat recently, and plenty to prove on the return to this code.
Hurdles winner over a similar trip at Fakenham 13-months ago, when 9lb lower. Also went close at Market Rasen later, when just 2lb lower. Makes a belated chase debut now, and might be best watched on this occasion.
Justified joint-favouritism when landing a mares' novices' handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (2m4f, heavy; first-time hood/tongue-tie) last December. Inconsistent in three more runs, but this looks more her game and she is interesting up in trip.
Won two of his three Irish points, but has so far been taking his time to get the hang of racing under rules. Won't be rushed by this trainer and with cheekpieces on and a feasible mark, we may see more this time.
Dual hurdles winner at up to 2m7f, but has struggled since joining this trainer from the start of last year. 0-2 over fences, and although he is now on a very workable mark, we'd need to see some spark of revival before recommending him.
Soft ground Irish point winner who went close here over hurdles (2m4½f, good) in May 2019, when 9lb higher. Couldn't replicate that, and handicapper now giving him a chance on his debut for this trainer, on just his third chase start.
Showed very little under rules until coming good when last seen at Hereford (2m5f, soft; first-time blinkers/tongue-tie), with a staying on success. 8lb higher for this return to action, so now has to back up that effort over this longer trip.
Placed in four points last year, but impossible to give him a chance based on either that or his previous rules form from 2017 and 2018.
Forecasts
Hahadi (15/8), Coole Lion (4/1), Go Hard Or Go Home (4/1), See Forever (7/1), Net Love (9/1), Affaire D'Honneur (12/1), West To Crossgales (16/1), Lough Salt (25/1), Bite My Tongue (50/1)
Another moderate contest and it could be a good opportunity for COOLE LION to strike. Caroline Bailey's six-year-old enters handicaps on a workable mark and cheekpieces fitted, and it would be no surprise if we see much more from him now. See Forever is an interesting opponent who may find improvement and be a challenger along with Net Love.
