Four-time chase winner at around 2m4f on good or good to soft ground. Needs to raise the bar on what he was producing in the winter to defy this mark, while he also has a fair bit still to prove over this trip.
Scored from this mark last year at Perth (3m, good) and went close to doing so back there next time, when 4lb higher. Form then tailed off. Returns for his first run since November, and has twice won when fresh. Interesting.
Acts on good/good to soft ground. 1-16 over fences, his sole win coming at Kempton (2m4½f) in March 2019, when 3lb higher. Has been nowhere near that form since, so has plenty to prove on this first start since March.
Won a novices' hurdle over the equivalent trip here in 2017 and showed ability in his early days over fences, earning a BHA rating of 135 last year. Has lost his way since entering handicaps, but handicapper is giving him a chance now.
Goes well here, with a hurdle win and two C&D chase wins to his name. Progressed in 2019, but lost his way after scoring at Newton Abbot (3m2f, good) in September. Now 1lb higher than that win, and recent hurdles run here could have him spot on.
Won a novices' hurdle at at Ascot (2m3½f, good) by 10L in November 2018, but has paid for that at the hands of the assessor since. Ran well at Market Rasen when last seen (second chase run) in December, and as a point winner, he should see this out.
Point winner who goes on any ground. Sole chase win came at Catterick on New Year's Day (2m3f) and he matched that effort when second at Doncaster in March, when on this mark. More needed, but can't rule him out.

Unexposed over fences, New Quay could play a big part in this, while Station Master is well treated if he can get back to somewhere near his best efforts from not so long ago. Mr Mafia loves this place and could be better for a recent run, but preference is for VIENS CHERCHER, who is also on a winning mark, has conditions to suit, and goes well when fresh.
