2m2½f (good) hurdles winner who showed up well on his chase debut at Market Rasen (2m3f, good to soft) last October, when 2½L second from today's mark. Was reported to be never travelling on only run since. Has won fresh. Enters calculations.

Won a bumper here on debut in 2017 (good) and added a 2m5f Kempton novices' hurdle a year later, both for Ben Pauling. Lost his way thereafter, but bounced back on last week's stable debut and looks a big player now.

Triple chase winner at around 2m1f when trained in France. Hasn't been able to kick in five starts for this trainer, the last three over fences. On a handy mark here, but has to prove he can take advantage.

Hurdles winner who is 0-17 over fences. Pulled up n his final start for Peter Fahey and his first run for this trainer at Musselburgh when last seen in February, Hard to make a case for him on and of his last five starts.

Prolific veteran who has won seven times at this track over either hurdles or fences, two over C&D. Acts on any ground and is back on his last winning mark. Foolish to dismiss him, but does have to put his last run firmly behind him.

It's now over five year since his sole hurdling win in Ireland, and he is 0-10 over fences, although did finish in the money on his last two attempts in this discipline (in 2016 and then 2018). Hard to make a case for him.

0-29 career record, 12 of those defeats coming over fences. Has been placed on his last four starts, however, including when 6½L second when 1lb higher at Hereford in March (2m5f, soft). Should be competitive.

1-28 over fences, having won a Sedgefield handicap chase (2m3½f, good) in April 2019, when 6lb higher. Has produced nothing as good as that since, and looks on to watch.

Triple chase winner at 2m2f-2m3½f, all on a sound surface. 1lb higher than the last of those, which came in 2019. Not easy to make a strong case for him winning, but can't rule him out of the money.

Won a soft ground Bangor chase over a similar trip last October, when 1lb lower. Acts on a sound surface, and should be very competitive from this mark, although he has never yet won when fresh.
