Dual 1m4f winner for William Haggas in 2018 then fell at the last on hurdling bow for current yard in November that year. Not seen again until last month when solid fourth oevr 1m6f at Redcar. That should have blow the cobwebs away.
Won at Carlisle 1m1f and Windsor 1m3f last season and landed Doncaster mares hurdle in March. Third at Doncaster in June then slightly disapointing when fourth again at Chepstow last time. 1lb rise looks harsh and may find one or two too good.
Dual purpose seven-time winner whose last Flat success came over 1m3f at Hamilton two years ago off 4lb higher. Hasn't run since October so fitness has to be taken on trust. Chance if fully wound up.
18-race maiden who missed all of last year having run into a place twice here over 1m2f in 2018. Not disgraced after long lay-off when sixth at Hamilton recently and handicapper has dropped him 2lb since then.
Thirsk 1m winner for James Tate back in 2017 and won over hurdles for current yard at Hexham in September 2018. Just two runs snce, both on the Flat, and was solid fourth in Newcastle 2m h'cap off 1lb higher 40 days ago.
1m and 1m2f winner last term and went close over nearly this trip at Musselburgh in August. Didn't take to hurdling with three poor efforts this winter and has first start back after 136 days off. Chance if fit and raring to go.
Probably just failed to last home when close third at Musselburgh 2m earlier this month but ran well and over this trip certainly enters calculations. Goes on any ground and looks one for the shortlist.

It's hard to rule anything out of this trappy finale. Alexanderthegreat hadn't been seen for 19 months prior to a rock solid return effort when fourth at Redcar last month and there's veery chance he'll have improved for the pipe opener. He should go close, but marginal preference is for DONNACHIES GIRL who probably found two miles stretching her when a close third at Musselburgh recently. The drop back to this trip looks ideal. Globetrotter is another who shaped with promise on his first run of the campaign and enters calculations, while Three Castles is on a feasible mark if ready to roll on his first run since a disappointing winter campaign over timber.
