Switches back to hurdling after two very solid performances on the Flat; unseated rider last time over timber at Downpatrick but has winning form and is fairly reliable.
Appeared to have been held back by huge weight rise for winning at Gowran Park last October but showed himself to still be on the up when scoring well at Bellewstown last week; more to do here but hard to write off.
Winner of a Tramore maiden hurdle in August but has ran as though something amiss on his latest two outings at Listowel and Tipperary; has talent but needs to bounce back.
Broke his maiden tag at the eighth time of asking over hurdles when keeping on strongly to win at Tipperary at the start of the month; looks on the upgrade and a serious contender.
Off the mark at just the third time of asking over slightly further at this track last July; showed he retained ability when third over that same distance here in June; would not need to progress too much to play a leading role.
Lightly-raced since last appearing over hurdles in 2018; finished 3rd that day over this trip off a 3lb lower mark; hard to assess however and market might be the best starting point.
Plenty high in the weights but has been running with credit since returning after a break; suspicion is she will find another few too good once again.
Has run some fair races in defeat but rarely looks like winning and likely to be same sorry tale; probably needs some help from the handicapper or significant softening of the ground to get truly competitive.
Winner of a Ballinrobe maiden hurdle but lightly raced and very little to be positive about in the last three years when beaten more than 20L in his last five starts; cheekpieces tried for the first time.
Ran some solid races last spring including a win in a Ballinrobe handicap 3m1f in May off a 5lb lower mark; has generally been struggling over fences in recent outings and does not come here full of confidence.
Not disgraced on handicap debut at Limerick in January but struggled on his next two appearances; hard to write off completely given connections but others preferred.
Has only raced the four times over hurdles and only placed effort was on debut in maiden hurdle at Wexford; not unreasonably handicapped at present and ran well on the Flat recently.
Reserve 2 Has shown very little ability on four racecourse appearances; hard to make a case for if getting in the contest.

BREAD AND BUTTER had his rivals spread out behind him when scoring comfortably at Tipperary over a slightly longer trip last time out. He looked to have a little in reserve that day and he is taken to follow up despite a rise an 11lb rise in the weights especially if the rain holds off. Chasing Abbey enjoys it around this track and should be able to give a good account of himself if not finding this trip on the short side. Cornakill Rose won well last time out at Bellewstown and despite been given more to do by the handicapper, her confidence may carry her through.
