Decent handicap hurdler but struggling on the flat at the minute, including 16L defeat at Limerick over 1m4f last month. Worth a check in the market stepping up in trip on handicap debut.

Five-race maiden. Has raced on just two occasions since August 2018. Infrequent visits to the track will not be helping the gelding to progress in the game.

Struggling maiden of 13 starts. Ran well in defeat on return to action at Bellewstown earlier this month. Well worth a check in the market with first time cheekpieces to assist.

Last seen tailing off in a couple of starts over hurdles in January. Yet to hit the frame in nine career starts on the Flat and remains easy to oppose here.

Forecasts

The Abbey (9/2), Yug (9/2), Aunty Audrey (5/1), Indian Eye (11/2), War Eagle (7/1), Differentiate (17/2), Make Good (10/1), Nudge The Judge (11/1), Wyett Earp (16/1), Sand Castle (16/1), Border Battle (33/1), Royal Alto (80/1)

Verdict

AUNTY AUDREY can continue in good form in this contest to add a fourth career win to her name. The six-year-old has slipped 2lb below her last winning mark and can take advantage of her slipping rating at the expense of the John McConnell-trained Make Good, who took the eye in a Bellewstown 1m6f handicap on yielding ground earlier this month. The Abbey for trainer Gordon Elliott should not be underestimated on handicap debut, while Yug, who posted career best effort at Fairyhouse last month, and Indian Eye in first-time cheekpieces should be checked in the market prior to post time.
  1. Aunty Audrey
  2. Make Good
  3. Indian Eye
