Well held in two career starts so far. First time hood unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

11/4

Forecasts

Hyde Park Barracks (2/1), Blue Cabochon (5/2), Mahaaseel (11/4), Aliyza (6/1), Tammany Hall (16/1), Ablah (22/1), Lady Princess (40/1), King Wasp (100/1), Stop On Red (150/1)

Verdict

The Kevin Prendergast-trained MAHAASEEL can improve on her pleasing debut run at Fairyhouse last month to land the opener. The daughter of Exceed And Excel, second of the eight runners over 6f leading and going smoothly until headed in the closing stages, should find enough improvement dropping in trip to hold off the attentions of the Fozzy Stack-trained Blue Cabochon, who has run well in defeat on both career starts to date. Hyde Park Barracks for trainer Aidan O'Brien is another clear danger who deserves respect while, Aliyza could be interesting taking a significant drop in trip.
  1. Mahaaseel
  2. Blue Cabochon
  3. Hyde Park Barracks
