Successful on seven of his 20 starts over hurdles including in a selling handicap at Fakenham (2m4f, good-to-soft) at the start of the year. Well beaten at Southwell (2m, good) earlier this month and is likely to have improved for that run.
Performed well in a couple of Graded novice hurdle events at Cheltenham last autumn including when 5¾L fourth over 2m5f on soft ground in November. One to note on handicap debut.
Pulled up in a soft ground handicap hurdle at Kempton (2m5f) in December but made a winning return to action when taking a 2m handicap on the Flat at Chepstow (good) last month. Notable runner on his return to hurdling.
Ran well prior to falling two out in a 2m handicap chase at Musselburgh (good-to-soft) in February. Well held fourth over an extended 1m7f on soft ground at the same venue when returning to hurdles later that month. Interesting to see how he fares.
Successful three times over hurdles but finished a well beaten ninth in a 1m6f handicap at Thirsk (good) on debut for this yard last month. Market support would be notable racing off a mark 3lb higher than for his most recent hurdles triumph.
Completed a treble when winning a novice contest over an extended 2m on good ground here in April last year. Had just two starts over hurdles since and is making his first start over obstacles since pulling up at Huntingdon (2m, good) in November.
Followed up a victory over 2m5f at Ludlow (soft) in November with three decent efforts in defeat including when beaten 4¼L when fourth over an extended 2m3f at Wetherby (soft) in February. One for the shortlist on return to action
Held in two starts since finishing runner-up at Stratford (2m6f, good-to-soft) on stable debut last October. Others hold more obvious claims on first start since finishing 19½L seventh at Wincanton (2m4f, good-to-soft) in November.
Stepped up on previous chase efforts when finishing 15½L third over 2m4f at Uttoxeter (heavy) in January. Any overnight rain would aid his chances on his first start over hurdles since February last year.
Lightly-raced since winning on the Flat at Salisbury (1m6f, heavy) in April 2018. Recorded two respectable efforts over fences last season and is of interest for a top yard on first hurdles start since departing early at Fontwell in November 2018.
Winner of a four-year-old hurdle over an extended 2m2f at Stratford (good) in March last year. Well beaten on sole completed chase start since returning from injury and wears a tongue tie for the first time on handicap debut.

SOME DAY SOON showed good form in Graded novice hurdles last season and he can make a winning handicap debut by taking this competitive looking event. The selection should have no issues with the slight drop in trip here and he can get the better of Bhutan who was in good form last season and has run well first time out in the past. Elysees had just the one start over hurdles last campaign and he can claim third on his return to hurdling having proved his wellbeing with a success on the Flat last month.
