Regressing on the Flat and has shown little in three novice hurdles. Opening handicap mark looks harsh and others make far more appeal.
Best effort when trained in Ireland was a 5L second of 20 at Punchestown a year ago but has shown none of that spark in two runs since coming over and best watched unless market suggests otherwise.
Has yet to reach the frame in 11 runs under Rules in Ireland over hurdles and fences on various ground at different trips. Makes little appeal starting off for new yard here.
Front-runner who has been generally regressive since winning at Sedgefield in 2018. This represents a drop in class but tailed off on the Flat last month and hard to be positive about at present.
Fair second to a rival now rated 130 on good ground at Worcester last September and though not in the same form in handicaps after that, this is a much weaker contest and claims if ready to go on first run since November.
Most recent of her four wins over hurdles was gained here in October 2018 and still capable judged on some efforts last year, though probably wouldn't want too much rain to soften the ground.
Chance on two runs on good ground last summer at Worcester and easy to forgive most recent efforts over hurdles as ground was very soft. Not without a chance providing ground doesn't deteriorate too much.
Multiple Flat winner in the past, the most recent in 2018. Has shown little at big prices in four runs over hurdles but now handicapping off low mark and would be very interesting if market speaks in his favour.
85 rated Flat handicapper in Ireland for Ger Lyons and been brought along gradually over hurdles since joining this yard. 6/1 when brought down at the first at Uttoxeter on Monday and surely capable of better than shown so far in this sphere.
Forecasts
Giga White (9/4), Jamacho (11/4), Solstalla (9/2), Cotton End (11/2), Red Charmer (12/1), Rock On Aussie (16/1), Chelsea's Boy (25/1), Patriciadplasterer (28/1), Unsuspected Girl (40/1)
A weak race and any money for the likes of Red Charmer and Giga White would have to make them of interest. Preference however, just goes to COTTON END who now finds herself in more realistic company and can take advantage. Providing the ground doesn't soften too much Solstalla is still capable in this grade and makes the short list.
- Cotton End
- Giga White
- Solstalla
