Archipenko gelding out of dam who won over 1m3f. Half-brother to once-raced maiden Aldente; 80-1 and beaten 10L finish sixth of 12 on debut over C&D (good to soft) 18 days ago.
Cityscape colt with plenty to work on after wide-margin defeats at Leicester (7f, good) and Windsor (1m, good to firm) in the last month.
Half-brother to winners Yachtclubgenoa (Fr 5f/1m1f 2yo), Port Paradise (1m) and Al Nehayy (Qatar 1m1f); dam Italian 7½f 2yo Listed winner, from family of Cheveley Park/1,000 Guineas winner Ravinella. Hooded on debut.
Mayson gelding hasn't beaten a rival in two outings at Newcastle (1m) and Southwell (7f) on the AW so far; returns from an absence with much improvement to find on turf bow.
Good second on debut at Haydock last year (winner sold to Hong Kong) but took a bit of a backwards step on reappearance when weakening out of it at Redcar (7f, good; 9-4f). Step back up in trip should help though, as might softer ground.
20,000 gns yearling; Free Eagle half-sister to winners Isaan Queen (6f inc 2yo/AW Listed) & Done Deal (1m AW); dam unraced sister to AW winners Botteen (7f) and Tina's Spirit (1m), half-sister to 7f 2yo Gr 3 winner Charlotte O Fraise.
Bated Breath half-sister to smart 2-y-o 7f winner Arctic Sound and 1¼m winner Apache Blaze out of a 2yo Listed winner. Runner-up sole start last summer at Newbury (7f, good) with winner now rated 107. Could take some stopping on belated second run.
Golden Horn filly related to multiple useful winners; second in Catterick novice in one run last season and should improve this term; entitled to have eyes on place money.
Took a backward step on her return to action at Wolverhampton (1m½f) last month; has achieved nowhere near enough in order to make her a viable win or place proposition now.
Invincible Spirit filly sold for 30,000 gns at the breeze-up sales in May last year; 18-1 and beaten around 10L on debut at Hamilton (1m½f, soft) 10 days ago; needs to step up on that run.
Forecasts
Deep Snow (1/1), Golden Hind (5/2), Tombolo (10/3), Hesssa (14/1), Vincitomnia (18/1), Deal Dun (40/1), Gainsboro Grey (66/1), Lockdown Dream (100/1), Nobblyneez (150/1), Thriller's Moon (250/1)
She only raced once as a juvenile but DEEP SNOW left a good impression when chasing home subsequent Group 3 winner Boomer at Newbury. That rival has proved smart since and the Godolphin filly looks the one to beat on her belated second attempt. Also returning from an absence is Golden Hind and she, too, has scope for better while Tombolo has place claims in what is not a strong event.
- Deep Snow
- Golden Hind
- Tombolo
