Flat winner in Britain for Tom Clover. Comfortably held in three maiden hurdles for new connections. Requires a chunk of improvement to play a role here.
Encouraging efforts over hurdles in September and when last seen in a Clonmel 2m hurdle in March on handicap debut finishing second of 16 runners off a 2lb lower mark. Potential improver can go close here.
Three-race maiden over hurdles. Running well in defeat in a couple of starts on the Flat since racing return ed last month. Worth a check in the market on handicap debut.
Solid performer on the Flat rated 72. Winner over a similar trip on the level at the Galway festival last year but the mare is still yet to hit the frame in seven starts over hurdles. Market likely to reveal expectations on return to action.
Regressing chaser winner of five of his 20 starts over the larger obstacles. Yet to hit the frame in four starts over timber and hard to see the veteran producing the required amount of improvement to get involved here.
Running well in defeat in a number of starts on the AW at Dundalk over the winter but out of luck on return to action over 1m1f at Gowran Park last month. Yet to hit the frame in four previous starts over hurdles and looks easy to oppose here.
Bumper winner has met some above average rivals in three hurdle races in November/December last year. Could be of interest on handicap debut for yard going well.
Six-race maiden over hurdles but the Baltic King gelding was producing a couple of promising efforts when last seen in April/May last year. Market likely to be the best guide, yard saddling a winner here on Saturday.
Seven-race maiden, appeared to be ticking along nicely in a number of starts since the turn of the year, generally accepted his efforts were better than final results suggested. One for the shortlist.
Finished third in each of his three starts on the Flat since return to action last month. Three previous efforts over hurdles have left little to be desired but could be worth a check in the market on handicap debut.
Paltry return of one win from 25 starts over hurdles. Not seen since finishing down the field at Fairyhouse in November. Faces a tough ask in this company.
Yet to hit the frame in eight career starts over hurdles. Well held on latest start at Naas over a similar trip in February and could be vulnerable to better handicapped sorts in this contest.
Beaten over 22L on each of her three starts over hurdles including on her latest effort in a Limerick maiden over a similar trip on first run since racing resumed last month. One to be cautious of on handicap debut.

The five-year-old COUSIN HARRY can get off the mark at the eighth time of asking for connections. The gelding had been running well in defeat in a number of starts since the turn of the year, generally accepted that his efforts were better than final results suggested. The Liz Doyle-trained Clody Valley could emerge as the biggest danger following a solid effort at Clonmel when last seen in March. China Princess for trainer Peter Fahey should be considered on handicap debut while Infuse for trainer Colm Murphy and the Niall Madden-trained Forgetthesurprise could be worth a check in the market as post time approaches.
- Cousin Harry
- Clody Valley
