Long-standing maiden over hurdles/fences; beaten around 15L on timber at Limerick (2m6f, good; 25-1) on first start for this trainer recently and hard to recommend back chasing.
Maiden hurdle winner at Limerick last summer but in and out form in handicaps after and will need to improve his lot going chasing on return to action to get on the board. Betting should reveal a bit more.
Just 1-18 over hurdles and peak rating of 98; the mare will have to really take to chasing on first start in 227 days if she's going to land this prize.
Was a 20-1 winner of a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe last summer (2m1f, soft) but that was completely at odd with all of her other form over timber; off nine months and major surprise if she proves good enough on chase bow.
Tramore bumper winner; landed a maiden hurdle at Cork (2m4f, yielding; 1-2f) on third attempt over jumps in October. Looks the sort to make up into a good chaser and leading claims on return.
Useful on Flat (peak rating 92) for Michael Bell in UK and also won four times over hurdles for Donald McCain (rated 126); excellent second on Flat at the Curragh (2m, good to firm; 25-1) on first run for this yard recently and huge player as such.
Modest form over timber, did go close in a mares' maiden point-to-point at Bandon in March but well held in Kilbeggan maiden hurdle (2m4f, good; 28-1) last week and needs to improve sent chasing.
10-race maiden over timber; sported a first-time hood (retained) at Tipperary (2m4f, good to yielding; 11-1) recently on return from 301-day absence and finished sixth of 15. Has to improve to be a contender on chase bow.
Point-to-point winner at Kilfeacle in January, ran as market suggested on hurdles bow at Punchestown (2m6f, heavy; 33-1) the following month. Should do better in this sphere before too long.
Consistent profile over hurdles with 14 placed efforts and two wins in 27 attempts; no problem with trip/ground on chase bow here and worth a look in the betting on first run for six months.
Mare with a Ballinrobe maiden hurdle success on her CV from five starts over timber last year; that came on soft ground and she has improvement to find to harbour claims on return/chase bow.
Five starts over hurdles have yielded no positives and it was a similar tale on the Flat at Roscommon last month (7f, good to firm; 150-1). Can only be watched going chasing for the first time.
French import is 0-11 over timber for the champion trainer and started to look regressive in handicaps in the spring; that said, wouldn't be a shock to see her up her game going chasing and she commands plenty respect in this company.
Reserve; winner of a maiden hurdle at Cork in May last year but 0-6 fences until now and likely to find that run extended if getting a call-up.

La Sorelita (2/1), Graceland (2/1), Dime A Dozen (11/4), Waitnsee (10/1), Lily Trotter (16/1), Something Sweet (18/1), Ballybrowney Walk (20/1), Sunrise Lady (25/1), Cailean's Angel (28/1), Ballydunblaze (33/1), Clear Left (150/1), Miss Queen Bee (150/1), Mary Fields (200/1), Haondotri (250/1), All Class (250/1)
La Sorelita became a bit stagnant over hurdles but she commands respect now sent chasing by Willie Mullins and it won't be a shock to see her competitive. Preference though is for match-fit GRACELAND, fresh from a cracking run on the Flat at the Curragh and seemingly set for a big tilt on chasing bow as such. Dime A Dozen was successful in a bumper/maiden hurdle last year and warrants close scrutiny too, while Something Sweet was consistent in low-grade stuff over hurdles and could have place claims if taking to this challenge.
- Graceland
- Dime A Dozen
- La Sorelita
